I've been training with Mark since March, and as a former attendee of manyyy different chain gyms, I was really not expecting to enjoy myself as much as I do.
Mark is an excellent trainer - he takes time to make sure you understand the how to properly perform each exercise, and checks in throughout your workout to give you feedback and offer suggestions. I'm in my second 12-week training cycle, and I not only feel stronger and more confident than I did when I first started, but I have fun working out now.
There is also a really great community here - and as a woman I can say I've never felt unsafe or unwelcome, which has not always been the case at other gyms...

Read moreHero Gym is a place for people of all fitness levels to come together and achieve goals that, at one point in life, maybe seemed unachievable. I personally have never felt more supported, pushed, and challenged. The owner has a way of pushing his clients to new levels with confidence while supporting them along their fitness journey.
As someone with a fitness background, that has also been a plus size fitness instructor, I have reached new strength training goals and am able to do things I never thought I could.
