I went to The Hamilton last night for a double date. Drinks were $6 and tasted amazing! I only drank the Fallen Apple but I had a sip of Its Tricky and Gettin Figgy with It. It's Tricky was a bit strong but I am not a whiskey girl. Gettin Figgy with It was strong as well but the flavors were really balanced and the fig tasted delicious. I really love the Fallen Apple and can't wait to go back again. We also had Northside Charcuterie, Beer Cheez & pretzels, and a Brat plate. The cheese for the pretzels was tasty but the texture was ok.The pretzels were warm and soft but a bit salty. I liked the Charcuterie board and tried a few of the pickled vegetables. Also, the place is gorgeous! And the bathrooms are so clean (we discussed the men's bathroom as well)! They have bath and body works hand soap and soft toilet paper not that hard 1 ply stuff! George the bartender was super nice and attentive! If you're in or near Northside I'd definitely check them out!

I finally get to update my review! Made a stop into The Hamilton on a Tuesday Night. They have a $2.00 Taco's, you have the choice of Chicken, Pork, and Tofu. I tried all 3 and they were delicious and a very good value! I also had the Maverick, which was made with Bulleit Rye, Hibiscus liqueur and Strawberry puree and it was surprisingly a great mix of flavors. The bartender was really pleasant and attentive. I love the vibe of this place, it's very cozy and would be great for an intimate date or just a night out with friends! I also think that the menu may have been expanded since the last time I was in, so there is plenty to come back for! Thank you for a great meal!

Wow! Gorgeous, welcoming space with a touch of Northside architecture in tiny patches of exposed wall. Ingenious Kendra, the bartender is personable, attentive & according to the guys next to me makes the best cocktail ever Kind of weird to comment on the restrooms but they are seriously nice & the hand soap smells amazing ❤️

Full disclosure; my wife and I are not regulars but we think of The Hamilton as our "go to" bar on our Birthdays, Anniversary, etc. I should have made this point on the night we were there (July 11, 2023) or shortly thereafter but life gets in the way. I ordered the "Kentucky" drink special but asked for bourbon instead of rye. Every other time I have done so (10+) there was no problem and they charged me the specified price. This time I had my usual 2 drinks but noticed when I got home that I was "upcharged" for the bourbon. (Why a "Kentucky" special would have rye is a question for another day.) I do not blame the bartender because when I made m request for the substation I saw her check with a woman whom I assume is the manager and/or owner. Not the worst thing that has ever happened to me at a restaurant/bar but I don't want to just not go there anymore without telling...

My wife and I went on a Friday night in search for food. We had a look at the menu and their big focus is wine but unfortunately we're not wine people (yet) but we stayed for the food choices despite their offerings being designed for small eats. They do offer a good selection of bourbon though and I took advantage of their bourbon flight deal. To start off, the staff was fantastic! They were very personal, nice and in great spirits. The place has a warm, relaxing feel to it. Despite the small plate offerings we ordered 3 dishes and couldn't finish it all. The goat cheese (TONS of goat cheese dip), reuben (not huge but very tasty) and the Northside charcuterie. The charcuterie dish was a unique one for us which had so many interesting food combinations. In the end we enjoyed everything we ordered but that goat cheese...
