ALDI — Local services in Citrus Park

I went here about two weeks ago to return some ice cream that was not as fresh as it should. They have the twice as nice guarantee, that will replace the item and refund the money with a receipt in hand. I went over to the ice cream section to get what I wanted replaced and it was not stocked in the freezer but I could see it in the back wall. I went over to the only cashier available an requested assistance. A short Hispanic woman wearing a polo shirt came over and she said she would get it for me, all fine here. When I finished shopping and went to the register, the cashier needed a manager's approval for the guarantee and lo and behold, the same Hispanic woman showed up with the key and told the cashier in a very accusing tone: "But I just gave him those" Trying to imply that I got them from the freezer and was attempting to return them right there! I am a law abiding person and not a thief!! When she asked for the receipt and the cashier told her everything was correct, she did not even apologized and turned away! This type of actions and attitudes is what bring businesses a bad reputation. I will no longer go here, even when is the closest Aldi to home because of this manager's actions. She needs to take courses in how to handle customers and avoid accusing someone without proof of what she claims!! Whoever the store manager is, should keep a short leash on her.

The only complaint I have with Aldi is that the variety is not enough for me to rely solely on them for my grocery shopping. As they claim, they are very affordable. They have wonderful European products which do not use all the chemicals of American products. I've found good wine and chocolate there. The dairy products are very impressive, especially the cheeses. For fresh produce, their prices are hard to beat, even compared to local stands and fresh markets. We've found good meat and seafood options which are not always consistent in the offerings. Many of the seasonal items are really good deals too. The staff its generally friendly. Yes, you must use a quarter for a cart, but receive it back. You'll probably wait a little while at the register. Also, bring your own bags and plan to bag your items. The savings and quality...

Disappointed with the Service on December 28th, 2024 I had a frustrating experience at this Aldi store during my visit on December 28th. My wife and I attempted to purchase four dozen eggs for our family of five, but Josh, who seemed to be in charge of the shift, refused to allow us to make two separate transactions despite being two individuals making a reasonable request.

While I understand store policies may limit quantities during shortages, the lack of flexibility and unwillingness to accommodate us felt unnecessary. Josh’s approach came across as rude and unprofessional, acting as if he owns Aldi stores, which made the situation even more unpleasant.
