I havenāt been here in a couple of years until today. Used to go here at least once a week for lunch. The food is always good, including today. What prompted me to write a review was the inexplicable wait time today. I arrived around 12:40. I stood in line for almost 10 min. My receipt said 12:49, and I received my food at 1:19. No kidding, 1/2 hr to make a sandwich. The problem seems to be too few people working and all of the online orders. I let the staff know how upsetting this is, to wait for 1/2hr for a sandwich, and they were polite, apologetic, and professional about it. However, at one point a grub-hub driver walked in and I heard one of the employees say āI just got your order so it will be a few minutesā and guess what, a few minutes later the grub hub driver was getting into his car and leaving with the order, so somehow they rationalized prioritizing that order over mine and all of the other patrons who were physically in the shop. So I guess from now on if I want a Firehouse sub from this location then Iāll order ahead. Or maybe the owner could hire a few more people. Who am I kiddingāIāll just...

I ordered my food, and told him I didnāt like it dry. He didnāt have to drain all of the juice off. I got no response. I turned around to say you can make it to go, but Iām eating it here.
He did observe me looking for the bathroom and told me where it was. I figured since now heās speaking Iāll tel him the ladies restroom has no soap or paper towels. So I went to the menās room, they had soap but no paper towels. Both restrooms needed attending to. I went to the counter after grabbing napkins to dry my hands. I said excuse me, and proceeded to tel him about the bathrooms. He didnāt acknowledge me again.
