This was my favorite CFA location in the Tampa Bay Area until the afternoon of December 7th, when a male employee working the counter named Christian did all of the following. I placed a simple take-out order with him for five nuggets. Since he never asked me if I wanted sauces, I asked if I could please have a salad dressing flavor instead of sauce packets. Prior to this order, I received a salad dressing packet on this same request at this location and at least five other locations in the previous year. Christian said that because I did not order a salad, he would have to charge me for the salad dressing. I asked him to repeat himself, not believing the request, and he again said he would need to charge me 33 cents for the packet. Stunned by the upcharge, I shook my head, accepted my nuggets only and went to my car. I sat in my car for a minute before grabbing a dollar bill and went back inside. I walked in the front door, Christian saw me coming, and placed the dollar bill at his cash register and said, "You know what, I'll take three of them." He ignored me completely. He then took all the time he could possibly take with two ladies ordering who honestly did not know what they wanted and who even asked about a plush cow as part of their order. This was Christian's opportunity to simply take care of me due to their indecision and hand me a free packet of salad dressing or just accept the dollar and hand me three of them. Instead, he never made eye contact and made me wait as long as possible. After the two ladies ordered and received their drink, which he also took plenty of time to prepare, he could not ignore me any longer. He never looked me in the eye, did some tapping on his keypad and somehow figured out a way to charge me $1.15 for three salad dressings. Again, the dollar bill I put on the counter was still sitting there in front of him and he figured out a way to charge me more than the money I offered. He did this to further anger and frustrate me and his attitude stunk. I grabbed my dollar off the counter, said "Forget it" and walked out of the store a second time. I reported this incident to CFA both via phone and online and asked for a call from the store management to validate or apologize for Christian's customer service. A store representative did eventually call, ironically said that Christian was some sort of "Hospitality Specialist" and defended him. I was offered a free meal to resolve the issue, which I declined because it does not solve the problem and I do not wish to be in the same building with that employee. Obviously, I will not be visiting this store going forward and be aware if you do that a male employee named Christian has the ability (and apparently management's blessing) to treat you as horribly as...
Read moreI am used to the west waters location and the great customer service there but we decided to try this one since it was less crowded. Our first visit there was nice and we dined in enjoying the electric train that runs around the top of the dining room so we decided to come back and make it our regular. That was a mistake, the first instance we got a sandwich which was dried out and half the size of normal more like chicken jerky but the other ones were ok so figured it was just a fluke and let it go. The next time we waited for almost 15 minutes on our take out order and then after getting back home found that a sandwich was missing, we called and they said to come back and get the other sandwich, so my wife had to leave the the family having dinner to go get the sandwich and they offered nothing to compensate for their mistake until she asked and all they would do is give a cookie for the inconvenience of having to miss dinner with the family and let her fries get cold while she had to make another trip down there and back which took about 20 minutes plus the expense of gas all because of the incompetent ill-mannered staff at this location. Save your self from the slog through a sea of trouble , disappointment, and inconvenience of dealing with inconsiderate maladroit employees who don't believe in making things right after their mistakes cause you trouble and waste your time . UPDATE , Jun24,2023 We know not to get take out here so we decided to eat in that way if something goes wrong they can fix it. Ordered 3 sandwiches and 3 fries and 3 drinks. Food came out fast , service was friendly and no line to wait through. Now the problems .... Asked for extra pickles on each sandwich and 3 types of sauces . One sandwich had no pickles , one had 1 pickle and the other had 2 . Only got 1 type of sauce and only 4 packages . The coke had no syrup just fizzy water. We asked for the sauce and got it , I asked for the extra pickles for all 3 sandwiches and was given 4 pickles for us to split which was not sufficient. The trash can was overflowing. So this was about what I expected remembering our previous experience....
Read moreYo, it's likely late the time I go on to type this review.
I guess, there isn't much to say when it comes to this place, especially from me. But that's just an understatement. I mean, the place has some kind of feel to it that makes me feel, at ease. But also able to take out my frustrations of my own through seeing the staff celebrate over Drive-Thru times and of the sort. More so, I want to go on the record and say everyone there is great. Procedure, "Front/Facade" or not , the staff are generally nice to talk to. While I always have my contradictions, I do believe that everyone there plays a massive part to make that specific Chick-fil-A as successful as it is. This does not even account for the times I feel that I am going to mentally breakdown, but the atmosphere, the vibe, and all of the sort prevent such actions. I feel this comes from a stance, and a guy who finished Highschool 1 ¾ years ago as I am typing this, who can connect — well not entirely — with most of the staff there, they make me warm-hearted. Even if I am in a bad mood. I appreciate all of them, they are the true ones. It always makes me laugh a little to myself when I see them celebrate to this day. Something uncommon, but it's great to see regardless. Last but not least, I want to say thank you to everyone who makes me day there, when I go to lunch and my breaks thereafter. My High school connections, you know who you are, y'all mean a lot to me. Everyone else, just as much, I love everyone there. Anyway, 'ppreciate all you do to make others, as well as I, happy, and willing to keep going there often. Stay...
