I gave them a one as zero was not a choice. My husband had an audition and he is a larger may. I called telling the man I spoke to the aproximate size and style. I entered the store and was greeted with a friendly young man who sold me the largest Dress Shirt in the store. I was assured to keep the receipt and if it did not fit he would hold the bag it came in as well as the tags as he removed them and places the over $149. Shirt as well as the $45 dollar tie. He placed them both in a dry cleaning bag. They were closed when I got home but the sleeves were supposed to come to the wrist but the neck was too tight, the sleeves too short and the tie was way to short. The next day I called and explained that I have trouble going down the stairs 2 days in a row as I needed knee surgury and we live in an upper apartment. They said bring the receipt and the debit card I used within 30 days for a full refund. On the 3rd day I returned. Everything was pristine and still on the hanger with the thin clear bag. When I entered I explained to the original man I spoke to on the phone both days. He said the young sales men was not available. He asked for the small plastic wrap as well as the tages. I told him I had recorded the young man on my phone telling me I would not need to original bags or tags only the receipt. He kept walking away from me and making phone calls and waiting for me to read. Finally he said oh there is a spec on the inside of the collar. It was not viable. I said, "come on really what can I do with this." Use it as a $200 tag. He told me to keep it on case my husband lost weight. I said and his arms will shrink if he loses weight. He finally agreed to give me the money back in the tie and said it would take 3-5 days depending on my bank. About 3 weeks later my card was credited for $49. Ordered jacket and no shoes since they walked us down to their shoe store the Bootery) where we spent over $400 (Kevin provided great customer service). Went to pick up suit for fitting on Monday night and there were shoes, no coat and very tight shirt. Everything was very rushed and told it looked great. Said someone in wedding party called to cancel jacket but that was verified not to be true. Said could order XL shirt but it would be too big. Determined needed a 44 jacket based on trying one on in store. Went back Friday to pick up jacket and XL shirt and again was very rushed and told it looked great. Put jacket on morning of wedding and realized it was a slim fit. Sleeves were a bit short and shoulders a bit snug but nothing to do at this point. XL shirt fit great. Wife called and left a message on how disappointing it was for a professional shop to get it so wrong with measurements and expected some sort of discount when suit was returned for the wrong order first and then a not so great fit with no time to change. When suit was returned owner asked if I tried the jacket on before leaving shop Friday. Yes, but again very rushed as though they knew the slim fit was not ideal and just wanted me out of there. Told that jacket only came in slim fit. So, why didn't you order the 46 slim instead?? No refund or other compensation offered. Owner extended hand and when I didn’t shake his hand he commented something like “we’re done here.” No apology for the inconvenience. We live far enough away from Batavia but that was fine to do the driving there however it landed up being pointless. When he went to pick up the suit for the wedding after being measured a while back to which he had actually lost weight since, the shirt was tight around his neck. The woman said he needed to get a new shirt and my husband agreed and said that he would be back the next day to pick it up. My husband went there to pick it up and they said they gave it to someone else in the party (who didn't know the situation). My husband said; well I hope it fits. He didn't get the suit till the day of the wedding and their "bigger size" was huge on him…so baggy on the arms and hung so low. Thank goodness the jacket fit okay or else it would have been a total embarrassment. I called after the wedding to basically say that I was disappointed for spending as much money as we did on the suit for it not to fit properly. The owner (I assume) did not take any responsibility at all and basically put the blame on my husband. The owner was aggressive and rude on the phone and didn't take an ounce of ownership to what happened. I am so irritated to spend as much money as we did for it not to be tailored more..I could have called on the phone and ordered the size instead of wasting gas to get there. I am disappointed with this shop and would never be able to recommend them considering the price for a suit.
