This is a beautiful coffee shop with plenty of seating and an obvious attention to detail in the inside atmosphere. I would suggest better lighting. The uncovered industrial style bulbs are awesome, but really do a disservice near the order area. The menus, although nicely done, are hung so high on the wall you about need binoculars to see them! Combined with the glare from the bulbs it makes for a frustrating choosing experience. My hot cappuccino was very good. Would have been excellent but my flavor was a bit light compared to my husbands so a bit inconsistent. The foam, which is important to me, was perfect. Taste was bold and very good. We had two sandwhiches from the breakfast menu and they were great too, although a bit pricy, but normal coffee house cost. I only mention this because I worry some places will price themselves out of the area and we want places like the Coffee Press to do well! The barista was clearly skilled but a bit grumpy which was understandable since he was there all alone, had to prepare the coffee, food and take orders. He did well despite the crowd accumulating but another staff memeber would have been helpful to alleviate the wait. I love the place and it is a great addition to Batavia. ...

He mumbled something, took the payment and put on his coat and walked out the door only to return a few minutes later with a bottle of regular rosé. Meanwhile in the cooler there were several splits of Freixenet sparkling rosé. We were confused. Both my lunch companion and myself work in a customer service industry and I know sometimes people may have things going on in their personal lives we may not be privy to but please be professional and put that aside while at work. This really was subpar customer service and not a very...
Read moreOkay so I originally left a review after the grand opening and I wanted to revamp it because I go here whenever I get the chance!! I’m from Akron, about 30 minutes from the cafe. Whenever we road trip, most of the time we’re passing through Batavia and I always make it a point to stop here for breakfast and coffee! My original review said something about how small the portions were, but not anymore (remember my original review was when they first opened. There’s bound to be adjustments)! Their specialty coffee list changes every month and gets more and more creative each time. You can tell they have a passion for what they do here and are not afraid to try new things! The cafe is like a relaxed industrial kinda vibe that’s just wonderful! I recommend the mirror...
