United States Postal Service — Local services in City of Elmira

Postal worker "Jon" , was politely RUDE just a while ago. I have mailed care packages to family and friends for years here. Usually, the other workers welcome me and are kind and say nice things. Today, I was mailing a care pkg to a dear friend who just had surgery and basically has to stay in her bed. I always decorate my boxes personally taking though and care into every sticker phrase or message. Before I could stop him, he states, I'm going to have to cover up all the stickers lady and proceeded to put the postage paid onto of about 7.00 worth of religios scriptures, flowers and butterfly stickers I got from the ROCKWELL MUSEUM in Corning! I leave an area large enough for the stupid postage sticker at the top right hand side of ALL MY CARE PACKAGES. He did NOT need to cover the stickers, messages and scripture verses. I said simply, that was NOT necessary, no one else who works here has ever done that! He sarcastically printed the receipt used a Ted oil pencil to show the tracking ect No apologies, didn't skip a beat and said will ypu be purchasing any stamps or need anything else today mame, I said , no ty, not from the likes of you. I cried. Went home. I can't imagine how much time was put into my thoughtfulness, just for him to carelessly cover it all up! Completely incompetent morons! We have lived in this area for 5 months now and this post office has lost 3 VERY important articles of mail already. I know this is government work but seriously these people are rude and lazy and honestly I think just dumb. We have had tracking number showing that our packages are there in the post office and they still cannot find them. One time they said "well I'm sure it's here, we will find it and have someone deliver it to your house." Then... NOTHINNG! For days! I finally went back in and after 45 minuets of searching they were able to find it. We have a package coming from Bath New York that was sent 5 days ago and it hasn't arrived. The woman wouldn't even look up the item with the tracing number I had because she said "well it takes a while from Bath." Load of crap! Useless! Incompetent! Complete and utter uneducated fools. Get better employees! Or...

You never attempted a delivery! Liars! I was sitting on my couch, right next to front door and I have a ring security system which shows videos of people coming and going and no one ever came at 7:55am. Just say you didn't want to do your job! I get packages from Amazon daily and ypu never tried. Lazy people. No one ever does a good job these days. I have a torn knee and cannot drive....
