Deep Roots Farmers Market — Local services in City of Glen Cove

I love this market!!! I've been going since they started in Sea Cliff over 3 years ago and have shopping year round outdoors in the spring/summer/fall and indoors in the wintertime. It's grown into such a nice, bigger market. There are always great, interesting vendors. Fun place for gifts too.

The fishmonger P&S Seafood will also do local delivery if you can't make it. I've purchased beautiful rings & necklaces from Baskin Robbins Designs. Amazing variety of candles & seasonings from the local gentlemen at Trubee Hill -- and they have a brand new gift shop in Village Square with lots of fun items! Veggies/flowers from local farms are always so nice. Fresh pickles. Wood art. Glass art from a local artist. Fresh juices & delicious vegetarian prepared foods from Conscious Kitchen (they do local delivery too!). Coffees from Southdown to sip on while shopping. Fresh eggs from Amy who has managed the whole thing. Thank you! The list goes on!

Fresh vegetables, honey, cheeses and red sauce, as well as pickles bread and baked goods at this tiny Farmer's market in Glen Cove. The name is deceiving. The market began in Sea Cliff (the town next door) but outgrew the space it was using. It is now on Garvies Point Rd. in front of the Pickle Factory and amongst a very new apartment development on the Glen Cove Creek that is still being built. Plenty of parking is available. You can bring your dog and there is a tiny dog park right across from the market. Excellent vendors. Also a craft brewery and coffee shops...

I love this farmers market. Tons of variety. From farm pick veggies to even hydroponic grown. It a good showcase of small businesses. You can get meat, seafood, sweet baked goods, fresh breads, soaps, flowers, clothes, honey, pickles....the variety is endless. On top of that there's beautiful scenery. So even if you just want to walk around, it provides, a nice, scenic, and safe place to go. Best part they are pet friendly. There's a cute gated dog park right by the parking.
