I’ve wanted to try this place a few times before I gave it a rating and review. Here it goes.
Recently I ordered an iced coffee, thinking I would take it home but plans changed and wound up eating there. Here’s the problem: the milk and creamer. It is left out in the open, no ice, no way to keep it cool, and it’s sitting in the sunlight coming through the window. There is no time that it was open and sitting without a way of cooling. FDA and food safety says no more than two hours. TWO hours. I’m pretty sure with that temperature that it was at two hours or longer.
The staff looks and seems disorganized. And for someone who is ordering… I have no idea where im ordering, if I’m waiting, do I eat then pay, or what is going on. I feel like I’m just as confused as they are.
The tuna fish smelled horribly fishy. Yes, it’s tuna fish. I get it. But it was okay.
The only things that have been okay were the smoothie I got one time about a year ago, and the BEC on a roll recently. I’m not sure if it’s the staff, training or what. But I wish this place did better. The pricing is just more than I hope to pay for the service that is received. I might as well go the other direction and go to LIBC and pay their over priced food which at least I know is good, and their dairy products are at temperature. As a place of convenience, do better. You should be able to afford to at least put the dang dairy on ice every couple of hours to prevent people...
Read moreCUSTOMER SERVICE is not the strong point at this location. Ordered a BLT on a poppy flagle. At the time of my order there were two poppy flagles and no one else was ordering at the time. Three minutes later the girl helping me tells me that there sold. I said I am sorry I placed my order prior to anyone else ordering. Another woman who claimed to be the manager and told her name was Denise got involved and began cutting into some other flavor bagle. They didn't even ask if I was happy with something else just immediately took it upon themselves. If she was the manage her way of dealing with the situation was to walk away and put her feet up on a desk by the door and to rudely ignor my request to speak with the owner. I was respectful and calm simply asked to speak with an owner. The next response was that they were going to call the police. I honestly couldn't believe that they were threatening to call the police. Another woman did come from the back and asked what was going on. I explained the situation and she was able to communicate with me what they could and could not do to make the situation correct. I have worked in customer service for 25 years and have never been treated like that in any deli, bagle place etc. I really think the owner needs to spend time with managers and employees and explain how to treat customers especially since they sold...
Read moreI got a OTM On The Marc “after season smoothie” certificate from attending Zumba class on 9/22/2021. At the time the certificate was given out I understood it as “receiving a free smoothie”. There is nothing else written on the certificate. On 10/3 I visited the store for the first time. No other customer was in store when I approached to the register and looks like everyone behind the counter was busy. I then went to the smoothie section ask for soomthie and present the certificate, the person works behind the counter said he had no idea but they offer small and large size one and said he guessed either one will be fine . So I checked off the items on the order sheet and waited another 15 min before the order was ready. Went to the register to check out, the person ask me to wait so he can check with the store manager. The store manger then came out said the discount was $1 dollar off soomthie and the balance is $8.22 now for a large. What a waste of 20 min left without one, not happy with the whole customer experience guess they really focus on “ catering” as what the name was saying Not going back for overpriced...
