I’m not sure if people are reviewing the private beach, which from across the bay appears to have plenty of sand, but the public beach is all rocks, trash, and shards of glass. There is a public restroom and plenty of parking. There was a woman walking her dog in the park area, a local, and I asked to confirm, if this was the dog beach (pointing toward the rocks, trash, and shards of glass). And she was like, “it says there’s a dog beach here? I mean, I guess no one’s gonna ticket you for having your dog off leash over there…there’s no one else around to complain.” Between her and I this should count for 2 reviews to knock that rating down. Read moreThere is a lot of construction going on right next to this very small beach so there is lots of debris and some trash nearby, but it keeps it secluded from a big crowd. The area is not enclosed at all and can lead right into construction, so keep that in mind if you choose to off-leash your dog.
