Long story short, our son and his girlfriend were hiking the Adirondack mountains when my son’s cars transmission decided to go. We live in central New Jersey and needed to find a way to bring the kids back home safely. It was determined that the replacement cost of the transmission on his car was more than the book value of his vehicle so we decided to scrap that car. We decided the best route to go was to drive to upstate NY, purchase a used vehicle online (sight unseen), meet up with the kids and ALL their camping/hiking gear and give them my vehicle to get home while we headed over to Romeo Toyota to secure a vehicle. They were the first dealership I found online and the reviews were very favorable.
All within a 12 to 15 hour timeframe, from my contact with Brianna of the Internet sales team, Dave the internet sales manager (?) and Tyler the finance guy- it all culminated in a stress-free, easy, peasy transaction. They texted me an invoice, contacted our auto insurance company, worked out all the NY State details and requirements we were unfamiliar with and we headed up (260 miles away) with certified check in hand. Within an hour of arriving at the dealership, we drove away in a well kept 2015 Jeep Cherokee. Every step of the process went so smoothly and we were treated so kindly by all involved, knowing the stress we were under, far from home, and under less than ideal circumstances (I happened to be home recovering from knee surgery) . We had to bypass the normal way we purchase vehicles -lots of research, Google reviews of the seller, Consumer Reports, all of that. We put ourselves in Romeo Toyotas capable hands and hoped for the best. We were so pleased with our choice to do business with the outstanding team at Romeo Toyota of Glens Falls NY. There was no price haggling, hidden fees, and zero surprises. I have never had such a pleasant and efficient experience purchasing a vehicle.
I intended to bring some “thank you”donuts to the dealership team as I am very grateful for all their assistance, but we were crunched for time and did not get a chance to. I am writing this honest review and to share our stellar experience instead, but I owe you all something sweet next time I’m in the area.
Anyone who uses this dealership and their fine team of professionals in the in Glens Falls NY location will not be disappointed with the quality used cars they offer and the exemplary, compassionate team that works there. I only wished we lived closer because I would not hesitate to work with them again; I assure you, this level of service cannot be found in NJ.

I want to believe this was not intentional. I committed to a Monday morning test drive on Sat. On Mon morning this was confirmed at 9:15 a.m. It is a 45 min drive from my location. I allowed extra time for any delays and arrived at the agreed upon time of 10:20 a.m. Turns out the vehicle I went to see had been sold and could not be test driven. It was the only 2025 of its type on the lot. 2) Waiting Time - It took longer than desired to get my license copied and to find out the status of the test drive vehicle. About a total of 30 minutes to complete both tasks. 3) AI transparency - I believe there is a review by Brent that refers to a similar situation. Common texts and broken test drive commitment. In the beginning I was text messaging with “Trinity Parker” then “Joseph Goodspeed” joined in. I put them both on my text msgs. In addition to the test drive, I included a desire to talk about “Build Your Own Toyota” but without a test drive, there was no point in going further. I asked a sales rep about these two personalities and was told they were in the call area and assist in sales. For a brief time I thought “Trinity “ and “Joe” were real humans. The joke is on me! I now surmise the txt msgs to be through a software program. I could be wrong… but the communication style seems very much like artificial intelligence may be in use. P Personally, I prefer to spend my money where there is more transparency, better organization, and humans do the communicating. These AI bots had me driving 45 mins each way as a waste of time. I live in Louisiana and the MSRP price was alot higher than it was supposed to be and I wanted to purchase locally. The local dealership was money hungry and being greedy so I began my search elsewhere. A friend told me about Auto Trader app and I gave it a shot. I put in the metrics I wanted in a car and had 10 dealerships across the country I reached out, but Romeo Falls was the ultimate choice. I called and spoke to JENNIFER ALIX (Request my girl JB if you need a point person to communicate with). She then connected me with a product specialist Steven who sent me a video of the EXACT car I wanted. I was then passed on to Tyler who was just as great and finished up with Moriah and Kennedy tag teaming the obstacles with financing and notarizing documents. Walter was phenomenal with putting the final touches on this entire experience and solidified that making my first car purchase with a dealership over 1,000 miles away was the right move.
NO, I was not paid to post this review. I am truly this satisfied with my experience that I wanted to share and acknowledge this team. We live in a negative world and we ALWAYS highlight the negative, but rarely if ever shoutout or give flowers to those that go above and beyond the call of duty.....and this entire team went ABOVE and BEYOND the call of duty. I am from the south and to see Southern Hospitality in NEW YORK was an experience as if I was in the Twilight Zone. EVERYONE I spoke to was top tier and cordial as if they worked at Disney World or Chick Fil A.
