I don’t write a lot of reviews, but occasional a place stands out for excellence that I need to offer my recommendation. Such is the case of A&C Billiards.
There are a lot of qualities that I like about A&C but tops is that I chose the billiard table I wanted. Sounds kind of obvious!! But I’m so used to salespeople trying to work me to what they want me to buy. Cathy, the owner, doesn’t do that. She gives advice as you request it. She patiently answers your questions as you ask them. And, best of all, she lets you pick the pool table that YOU’RE GOING TO LOVE. I never felt any pressure to buy. I never felt any pressure to pick a certain model. In fact, I was the one who upgraded to a model with a few more features after learning so much from her!
After you decide, the day for delivery is set up. The team that assembles the table is really good. They’re polite, respectful of your property and they know what they’re doing. When they’re done, you know your pool table is set up correctly. A couple days later, Cathy called just to make sure everything had gone smoothly. They care at this place.
A&C Billiards wasn’t the first place I called, but after I met with them I knew this is where I would be buying. There’s a lot to be said for coming home and the feeling that you’ve been treated squarely. You get that from A&C. If you’re looking for a quality billiard table and an experience that makes you feel good after you’re done,...
Read moreI had such a great experience at A&C Billiards with Cathy, the owner. Her store has an amazing variety of cues, pool tables, and barstools—everything you could possibly need. Honestly, I won't be shopping anywhere else because prices and her customer service are on another level.
What stood out most was how personal and welcoming the experience felt. Cathy encouraged me to actually try out different cues right at the front table, even letting me chalk them up to get the full feel. I must have tested several before deciding on a Cynergy Cuetec (which I absolutely love!). What impressed me even more was that Cathy wasn’t trying to push the most expensive option. She genuinely wanted me to find the cue that fit me best—even suggesting I try out a few that were less expensive than the one I ended up choosing.
On top of that, she took the time to answer all my questions about caring for my cue tip, ball sets, and even my table. With 30+ years of experience, you can immediately tell you’re dealing with someone who truly knows the game and the products inside out.
If you’re in the market for billiards equipment, trust me—you don’t need to look anywhere else. Cathy and A&C Billiards are...
Read moreI started playing pool competitively a few years ago and stumbled in to A&C as the closest billiards supply to home. I quickly made friends with Kathy the owner who is the sweetest and most knowledgeable non pool player I have ever encountered, and her right hand/partner in crime/son Olande. I needed help with everything, from buying cues and equipment for my boyfriend who is much better than me, to generic general use equipment to freshen up my bars equipment, had Olande install and help move our home table, and eventually I took over running a pool tournament and have played league for a few years now. so personally they are my go to for almost anything i have needed. prices are fair and competitive. yes, i know you can find some things online for a couple dollars cheaper but paying the additional costs to have a storefront and humans to help when you need it is worth it to me. they do everything from cue repairs, to weight changes, table installs, custom orders, tip changes, table refelting/servicing, and plenty more i probably just haven’t needed yet. Great people, great game, shop small businesses, love...
