D2 Hair — Local services in City of Industry

I've been here 3 times total just because of the good reviews and every time it came out bad but I wanted to give other hair stylists a chance. And I can say now that I have had my hair cut by 3 different stylists and it has always been terrible. I came here to get a trim and layered cut. I explained in detail how much I wanted cut and the style but she ended up cutting my hair so short to a bob. I literally wanted to cry sitting in that chair because of how short it came out. Besides that though I asked for a layered cut and it was looking super choppy on the bottom and done really sloppy. At first it seemed okay because she spent so much time just blow drying it to curl my hair so I couldn't really tell the cut but after my hair straightened I could see how disastrous the cut was and I will never recommend this place to anyone ever. It's expensive and you can get a much better cut...

I went for some high lights yesterday and showed them exactly what i wanted. They started the process and left the bleach on my hair for about 2 hours, then a second lady came in and added another coat of bleach on my hair and left it on approximately another 2-2.5 hrs. Once they added toner and washed my hair, most of my bleached hair fell off. I tried to explain to them that my hair was completely fried and broke off and they said they weren't sure how damaged it was but i could come back in 2 days to get a treatment to "fix" it and stop the overprocessing. I am beyond furious as they wanted to charge me $400 and they did irreparable damage to my hair. In the photo i took you can see my hair clearly breaking off and they said nothing and tried to play it off like it was not a big deal even the owner did the same.... unprofessional and terrible salon...

Recommended here so stopped by on a Sunday and it seems to be their busiest day of the week. We managed to get in at 10:30 am. Definitely call in advance if you’d want to get a haircut on the weekend. They do take walk-in though! You may just wait a bit. The staffs were so nice! They washed my hair first and then to cutting. He asked how short I’d like it and kept it that length. Not any shorter which is great because a lot of places ends up cutting it even shorter than I wanted. I’d definitely recommend this spot!
