To the manager, John. It's unfortunate that you decide to be rude to your customers and even threaten them to refuse service because they wrote a negative review on your yelp page. The reason for my negative review was because of YOUR BUSINESS' LACK of communication to the public about your store hours. I had driven 40 miles away knowing that your TEMPORARY HOURS STATED that you were open until 3:00 PM. I arrived at 1:00 PM and caught you on your way out and you told me that you were sold out. NOW, how was a PATRON supposed to know that you're sold out and closed and you would just assume that the rest of the world knows you just close at whatever hour you please? NOW, you decided to post your hours and let the world know that you are closed when you sell out or when you don't answer your phone call because I had told you that you needed improvement. You did not have anything posted prior to my visit to your store about being sold out or closing hours before you say you would be closed. This 1 star is not about you listening to the customer about how to better communicate about your hours and when you're sold out, but more because of your poor attitude and what you had displayed towards me as a response to your Yelp Page. As a customer who returned to give you another chance, a negative review can always be updated to a positive experience but you chose to keep it negative but threatening to refuse service to me because of a negative review. The solution would have been to simply take my feedback and criticism, understand that I had driven 40 miles just to support your business and to continue to support you ONLY for you to be rude to the customer who is trying to support. I definitely WILL NEVER BE BACK as you are not the only place that sells "roti buns" around town. Perhaps some professional training on customer service would be of benefit to you. Disrespecting patrons who is clearly upset that YOU CLOSE OUR STORE HOURS BEFORE SAID HOURS is unprofessional and has NOTHING TO DO WITH COVID-19. You have been closing early...

Breakfast Experience
I visited in the morning for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Their Croissant Sandwich was a great choice—crispy on the outside and filled with ham, cheese, egg, and lettuce, making for a satisfying and protein-rich meal.
For my drink, I tried the Black Sesame Latte, but it was a bit disappointing. The sesame powder didn’t dissolve well into the hot milk, and no one informed me that it needed stirring, which affected the overall taste.
Environment & Amenities
There are plenty of seats, but a few downsides for those looking to work or study here:
No power sockets, which makes it inconvenient for long stays.
No WiFi, so it’s not the best place for remote work or studying.
Not dog-friendly—only service dogs are allowed, so pet owners should take note.
Final Thoughts
Sobok Sobok has potential, and with a few small improvements, it could be a fantastic go-to spot for both breakfast and dessert lovers.
While my breakfast experience was mostly enjoyable, I’d love to return to try their shaved ice and ice cream next time, as those seem to be their...

✨ Coffee Bun Crispy on the outside like a pineapple bun, soft and fluffy on the inside! Besides the classic original, they also have chocolate, walnut, almond, yogurt white chocolate, and cinnamon. Pro tip: pop them in the air fryer for 3 minutes before eating — the crispiness is irresistible!
✨ Croiffle + Ice Cream Combo Croiffle = croissant 🥐 + waffle 🧇. Golden and crispy on the outside, buttery and soft inside. Pair it with 🍍 pineapple ice cream — the hot croiffle topped with cold ice cream gives you that amazing hot-and-cold contrast. Totally addictive!
✨ Strawberry Matcha A super photogenic drink! 🍓 Strawberry chunks with the earthy bitterness of matcha create a sweet-yet-slightly-bitter balance. Fresher and more flavorful than a regular matcha latte — fruity, refreshing, and delicious.
✨ Cookies n Cream Frappuccino Vanilla frappe base + Oreo cookie crumbles. Creamy, icy, with crunchy cookie bits throughout — like drinking a melted Oreo ice cream shake! 🍪 If you’ve got a sweet tooth, this one’s for you (but skip it if you don’t like...
