I recently completed a 6-week “Introduction to Clay” class with Karen Jaimes and thought it was terrific. In just a short time we got to experience creating pieces by all kinds of techniques (pinch pot, coil, slab, wheel throwing) including glazing. I have taken two classes here. The senior ceramics (with Karen) and beginner wheel throwing with Beth. Both of these classes were so rewarding and fun. I can actually make a decent pot now, much to my own amazement. This place is truly a local treasure! Thank you Karen and Beth for bestowing your knowledge upon us. Love the social side of the classes as well. We have had some nice conversations and few laughs too. Hope to take many more...
