I had a crystal replaced on an old watch and the next day had water inside the case. I took it back to them after they said they would fix it. Claimed it was the button leaking, even though the crystal was just put in. After waiting weeks they said they couldnt get the part and would just epoxy the button. Whatever. Epoxy it and give it back i said. I get my watch back and notice the bezel doesnt turn. Took it to someone else. Turned out it was the wrong size crystal binding up the bezel, not set into the case causing it to let water in. The crystal doesnt fit in the case. It was the bezel thet held it in. Now i have a watch with no crystal and a epoxied button. What am i suppose to do? Let them "fix it" again? I got it back in worse condition than i gave it to them. There was no craftmanship. The man is a thief! I went to him so he could repair a necklace my mother had given me as a gift when I was a child. However, that’s not what happened. He stole my real gold necklace and replaced it with a cheap imitation necklace. The original necklace was certified real gold and had been worn for years without tarnishing but after only a few wears the new necklace that I received back from him tarnished.
