It's not easy to find your size when you're out of shape (too tall). I was in urgent need of a properly fitted suit for an emergency business meeting the next morning. I bought a last minute suit from a quality store. They were unable to fit it on me before two days. I remembered seeing the tailor, Adnan working late as I drove by on my way home at Long Beach at night numerous times. I went straight to Adnan's Custom Tailoring with the hope he would be open and would be kind enough to accommodate my need being this was my first time ever going to him for anything. Yes, he was there, working to make sure he meets his deadlines. And, yes, he was very kind and accommodating. It was around 9PM. I knocked on the door with the suit in my hand. He opened the door and kindly greeted me. He invited me inside the store. Asked me what he could do for me. It must not be unusual for him to get customers so late in the night, I thought to myself. I briefed him on the story. He said, no problem sir, if you have time to hang out with me I can do that for you tonight and you take it home with you. He has no time to waste. He has me put it on and marked everything he needed to work on with needles and soap. I need you to stay here so I can make sure it's fitted correctly, because we both don't have time for any mistake, he said.

I was fascinated to watch him recreate my huge suit to fit me. By 11:30 I left his shop with a perfectly tailored suit.

I highly recommend this tailor, even for the most complicated jobs. I never wore a suit that fit me so nice before. Thanks to him, I am renewing my wardrobe. I promise, I won't rush you this time. Thank you Adnan. Best regards to...

DO NOT GO HERE. Ick.

If I could give zero stars I would. I brought a bridesmaids dress in that I did not feel comfortable in from the beginning, the owner couldn’t have made me worse. The dress was a “convertible dress” which I’m aware bridesmaid dresses are the worst. I had already pinned the dress where I wanted to cover and he told me “do not show your shoulders” and continued to use the additional pieces to completely cover my upper arms and shoulders. The dress was about 5 inches too long as I am 4’11 105 pounds and nothing ever fits when ordered. I asked about the slit in the dress as it was below my knee because of my height. He gave me a nasty look and said the slit was “High enough” it was obvious we were not on the same page about the dress so I figured I would have him fix the length and go somewhere else for the other alterations. He quoted me 80 dollars and told me the dress wouldn’t be ready for 3 weeks! 3weeks?!???! When I asked for my dress back this man IORNED THE CHALK MARKS INTO MY DRESS!!!!!!!! He burned the entire bottom of my dress with the chalk marks he had made at the bottom of the dress! I was in shock and asked him to stop because I may return the dress and he continued to burn the chalk that could have easily been rubbed off or taken off with water. He said “I need to remove my marks” i now have a bridesmaids dress that we are all not wearing with burn marks on it and can not return it. Not to mention this place was very dirty I wouldnt even put my foot on the ground if you paid...

Top Tier artisan tailor, with a great, friendly and welcoming disposition. Truly a hidden gem! As a person who lives fashion and who takes immaculate care of my clothing, I was more than comfortable giving my designer clothing to this tailor. Albeit clothing alterations, and not Heaven forbid surgery. Adnan took the time to measure me properly, while going the extra step to discuss fitting options style vs comfortability. I am truly surprised by some of the other reviews, as I was a first time customer, and with a clearly healthy workload he was kind, friendly and patient. Furthermore he was extremely accommodating with an expedited timeframe. And his pricing was very reasonable for the level of service he provides. If You are looking for a true valet tailor Ide unquestionably recommend him. And as for negative reviews there are usually 2 sides to a story. I have nothing to gain or lose from this comment, just wanted to share a great find....
