My son and I went into this Verizon store on Military Road this afternoon for the purpose of upgrading my phone. I wanted to re-up my contract which would have enabled me to buy an IPhone 6S for $199.99. I was on my Verizon account online before I went there and this deal was offered, even to the extent of picking up my phone at that store. When I explained what I wanted to do, I was told that they no longer offered contracts and my only option was to pay a monthly installment of $24.99 for 24 months. I told them that they did indeed offer contracts and for the price I quoted. Again I was told that this couldn't be done, additionally, I was told that all three IPhones on my account would go up $15.00 a month if I didn't increase my data package. Just to be sure I was understanding this I asked if I was going to end up paying $600.00 for this phone, I was told yes! I told them never mind, I was not paying $600.00 for the phone when I knew I could get it online for $199.99. We got into our vehicle in the parking lot and I signed into my Verizon account where I proceeded to order the IPhone 6S for $199.00. When I got home I called Verizon and I explained what had happened. I was told that this salesgirl out and out lied to me to increase her commission and that I should have been able to do this transaction at the store. The Verizon rep had me convey this incident to her supervisor and describe the woman who had waited on me. The supervisor sent the store manager an incident report about what had transpired and assured me that the matter would be taken care of. Additionally, she credited my account $30.00 as a goodwill gesture. I will never, ever step foot into this store again! Apparently the staff at this location is dishonest and not above lying to line their own pockets with our hard...
Read moreCompany does not care, employees only care about their commission I assume. Terrible set up waited a hour patiently no one came and asked about sign in, such a bad system. My phone is broke so i cant sign in and there were 3 others that also could not sign in. Eventually they took people that came in after me, so I addressed it with the employee. He says its my fault cause i didnt sign in (even after i told him i could not) and says "I have some nerve coming in on black friday weekend"....that this weekend they are selling phones not working on them... I explain i spend hundreds a month for my service and that customer service is his job and he has some nerve to talk to me that way. He sorta of fixed my phone it worked for a few hours and now just locks up. To avoid this store I called only to be given more red tape and excuses. I told them about the above and how i wanted to speak to a manger or supervisor regarding that store and the situation with my phone. Never got a call back! The rep on the phone told me to further break my phone by dropping it hard (they said this) , so i could just do a insurance claim....Which is fraud i believe, but this was the reps "easy" solution for them, and i wont do that because why should I have to pay a deductble when i didnt break it....it is under warrenty but they dont have any replacements and i will have to wait 30 days!!! unacceptable. They then told me to wait a week then they would call with a solution....guess what week past no call back from the rep or any type of manager or customer service. IDK WHAT TO DO??? Read moreThis store is TRASH!!! I went to get a new phone as mine had broke. Should have been a simple transaction. I picked out a phone in about 2 minutes and was ready to go through the 10-15 min transaction. They ran my card and couldn't hook my phone up as it wouldn't show in their system. I had to call the bank and verify the transaction was pending , which it was. They wouldn't hook up or give me my new phone until the pending transaction went through, which wouldn't be for a couple days. By the way there was another couple there going through the same thing . They were there for 2 hours before me!!! I wasn't willing to wait so I asked them to cancel the transaction and I would come back tomorrow. I came back the next day and the transaction went through fine. Fast forward a few days and I check my bank . They took the money out for both transactions and charged me twice for 1 phone. I went back a 3rd time to get this taken care of and the worker was VERY rude and just annoyed he had to deal with the situation. He was very condescending and just plain rude. About 20 minutes go by while he's in the backroom. He finally comes out and says in a very rude tone that there's nothing they can do, and I'll have to dispute it with bank. A 20 minute transaction has now eaten up three of my evenings and I was double charged without even so much as an " I'm sorry" .
The tiny guy with a limp is who waited on me and was EXTREMELY RUDE. I recommend dealing with someone else if you go there. The other employees were very nice...
