I had ordered a pho bowl with pork and was disappointed that the meat was not only next to uncooked but essentially a large hunk of fat, making it inedible. Due to dietary issue I cannot eat egg so other than onions and some corn I essentially had $15 noodles and broth. Wasn’t too thrilled and feel bad with the review as I see it’s overwhelmingly positive and I like to give places chances. Hopefully I will have the opportunity in the future to try it and edit it with a more positive review. Also, was not given utensils and I guess I ought to have double checked but that’s something I guess you assume when ordering takeout. As I ordered it because I had literally moved that day I had no silverware. After getting back to dorm I had to go back out to store and buy cutlery. But once again, for the price you kind of hope for that amenity.
EDIT: I've got to say that I'm super impressed that within HOURS of this review the owner commented here. I appreciate their concern as well as ability to respond to both positive and negative reviews with such class. I've seen some bizarre examples on reviews where owners do not act so honorably. It definitely gives me an impression this place genuinely cares about their quality and customers' satisfaction and I had to adjust my review accordingly, adding a star. I also intend to definitely give them another chance, something I was debating, and will ultimately come back to adjust review accordingly. THANK YOU for...
Read moreBEYOND DISGUSTED BY THIS PLACE. We went to Niagara Falls to visit and found this cute ramen spot and decided to try it out before heading back. As we entered, we were welcomed by the front staff and they were helpful with ordering. My friend and I decided to order the Tonkatsu Ramen and drinks. The place was not busy at all as we were the only ones there. After we ordered, the food took longer than expected (around 25-30 minutes) to arrive as the cook was on the phone chatting loudly. When the food was ready, we were so excited for the ramen until we found 2-3 pieces of black hair in the bowl of noodles. At this moment, we were fairly forgiving as we kindly pointed it out to the staff. They offered to remake our order and after 5-10 minutes, the new bowl arrived. This bowl arrived and we were excited to begin eating. Shortly after, to our astonishment we later found additional pieces of hair on the bottom of the bowl! We were beyond disappointed and completely lost our appetites after that. This is completely unacceptable as we had already given them a chance to remake the bowl though it seemed as if they simply took the hair on the surface out of the bowl, waited a few minutes, and resend the same bowl out ALL WHILE IT WAS NOT BUSY. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE if you do not want careless and unacceptable service....
Read moreThis closely resembles a fast food chain. Their ramen and soup is decent and has a decent taste. The poke bowl seems to be much better then other dishes available. I ordered their strawberry smoothy and it reminds me of Dunkin donut smoothies. All drinks are definitely too sweet for my taste. They can adjust the sugar according to the menu, but I completely missed that part cause the menu is quite packed and crowded.
The ramen and beef for the tonkatsu was overcooked. The noodle no longer had anymore texture. The soup base was lacking flavor and the beef was more like canadian bacon. The beef definitely doesn't look like what other posted here.
The poke bowl and burrito both were pretty good. I think they could've given a bit more rice for the poke bowl. The amount I received was just palm sized.
Note: Their system do automatically ask for tip and have suggestions, but I don't see them providing any service more than the usual McDonald's. Tipping or not...
