Oh Sportsplex. It’s a love/hate relationship. I hate that I’m there almost 5 days a week for my kids’ soccer practices and games but I love the familiarity. They really do a great job scheduling practices and games. The new website is great. The new snack bar has been a HUGE plus, especially when we’re there for hours. We don’t drink but I’m sure some people love the beer and wine. Yeah, the ceilings need work, the bathrooms need work….but look past those things…the kids are having fun! I have been going there every week for more than a year. The price is good, and the staff is helpful. They have several turf fields that you can use for different kinds of sports. However, there are some easy improvements they could make. First, they should add lines (Even a shade of line is enough) for the smaller fields to mark the penalty box. They also need to install an air conditioning system for the summer. It is impossible to tolerate the hot, still air on warm summer days. Also, it would be helpful if they raised the wires holding the nets a bit higher, as they are very close to the top posts of the goals and...

Sportsplex is definitely on the up swing! The soccer fields are nicer than they have been in years. The turf has been replaced which is safer for the players. The concession stand offers popcorn, hot pretzels, candy and other snacks. They serve coffee, bottled drinks, hot cocoa and beer. There are large screen tv's that are tuned in to sporting events. There are plenty of tables and chairs. The parking lot still needs repairs but it's not awful. All and all it is a good place to watch and...
