Maida's Floral Shop Inc. — Local services in City of Oswego

I ordered a birthday bouquet online from out of state from Maida's Floral Shop. I received a phone call within a couple hours they didn't have the particular item or the flowers in stock for whatever reason. At that point I should've cancelled the order, but I was away from home and didn't want to miss the opportunity to bless my sister that day. The floral shop asked if they could use a decorative watering can in place of the birthday box and use some alternative flowers. Reluctantly I agreed! Although my sister received her flowers same day, what I expected her to receive did not even closely resemble what I originally ordered (looked like an old country style cup that said "Welcome" on the side. Seriously!!). Although the arrangement was nice , I was not happy with this transaction and moving forward, if I don't get exactly what I order, my business will go elsewhere. Secondly, at the top of their website page it says " As Always FREE Delivery* for local online orders. I was warned by another family member that I'd be charged for delivery. The flowers were only being delivered less than 6 miles away from the flower shop. Regardless if it's an out of state order for a local recipient, there should be no delivery...

I have been a long time customer of Maidas Floral. Even if I'm not 100% sure just what I'm looking for, but have an idea, Debbie the owner and her staff are always very good at working with me to come up with something beautiful. She has great attention to detail, especially after getting to know what you like over time. She works hard for your satisfaction. Love going in at Christmas to find that hard to buy for person/s. One time, Deb made me a money tree that I was giving as a co-worker gift, turned out beautiful! Recently, I received 2 beautiful arrangements from Maidas that I treasure and am very happy with. One, a bulb garden , which I will transplant in my yard this spring, the other a gorgeous dish garden that is still thriving and beautiful. The staff at Maidas are very friendly and accomadating always. Best florist in Oswego!...

I had been in Maida's a couple of times prior to this, but my main experience with them has been for my recent wedding. Deb was incredible from the moment we made contact with her. She was friendly, helpful, knowledgable, fun to work with, understood us as a couple- our preferences, our needs, and boy did she deliver! The flowers were absolutely perfect- our bouquets, the centerpieces, the flowers on the pergola, everything. I HIGHLY recommend that you take the time to shop at Maida's and have them do flowers for any event, especially a wedding!
