It's nice inside, the staff was nice and the piercing woman was very professional. I did my own research on the piercing I was getting but I was disappointing the piercer didn't warn me about things. Yes I knew I wouldn't be able to do certain things while they heal but don't you think you should tell someone before they pay and get the piercing. She only gave me the aftercare rundown after I was pierced and paid for it. Not sure if that's standard it was my first time. Also, my piercings are crooked. Enough so that I and my boyfriend could tell, and I didn't notice at the shop because she didn't give me a mirror to look at her markings she just went ahead and did it without asking about the placement. I had my septum pierced around 7 or 8 months ago. I went 6 months not knowing why it still hurt, like daggers In my nose, to hearing about the employees calling me kissy face because the piercing hurt so badly my lip constantly was twitching to push the piercing so it wouldn’t hurt. I then had an employee look at it, all he told me was to not touch it and to keep it clean. It kept hurting months after I had him look at it, so I went to a professional who informed me my septum had in fact been pierced too low. So the employee didn’t inform me of the placement when he saw it, and left me in pain for another 3 months dealing with it. I absolutely do not recommend this shop for hospitality or piercings. Bodified has been my families go to place for piercings since 2013, the owner Heidi is absolutely amazing. She did my navel and my brothers septum 10yrs ago, and we've had 0 issues with them. Ive also had my daith pierced and my husband had his nose done pre-covid with another piercer at her shop who was fantastic. All of my jewelry has been high quality with no issue. When I did recently have an unexpected issue with a piece after a few months, I contacted them just to let them know and Heidi actually offered to have me come in to fix it! The customer service here has always been fantastic, but they truly go above and beyond for their customers.
