The Oswego Public Library never disappoints! As a homeschooling mom, I am always on the hunt for specific books. The library staff have searched beyond the 60+ libraries in our region to get me the books I want! They have delivered to me as far away as ALASKA!!! I can go there at any time the doors are open, with my children, and the staff looks and counts heads to make sure I have all three of my daughters with me. And if not, they ask where their whereabouts by name! And children’s program!! It is phenomenal!!! I’ve gone on off days at off times not knowing the summer schedule and walked into amazing activities and excitement already planned for my children!!! The staff is extraordinary patient and helpful and I catch them always preparing for their weekly story hours and summer reading program which serves 400+ children every summer!!! Every day, the staff goes above and beyond to make it an amazing experience for us!! I really don’t know what I’d do without them!! My daughters love to go and have a special bond with the staff. I would highly recommend this library to you if you need to find a rare book, need help with research, need a quiet place to study, a safe and fun environment for your children and yourself or are looking for community...

Then when I saw the library I was like whoa this is a castle! Oswego is an amazing place I only regret not going to SUNY Oswego for travel international business but back then I had zero support for my dreams. It’s too bad my parents divorce we lived in a historical home in fruit valley a...

I brought my neice here with my mom once she(my neice) has never been to a library and she loved it here. She also got her own library card here and was playing with toys with other children and she...
