CELLPHONE REPAIR UNLOCK — Local services in City of Poughkeepsie

from 30min repair to over 30 days! I brought in my pixel 3 phone that had a cracked front corner and back corner screen but was totally still functional. I was told online that it would take 30 min to fix but had to prepay downpayment online for the parts. Seems like they fix way more iphones. I wasn't originally going to do this but pixel 5's were sold out online and the closest company ubreakifix (fixes pixels) was only available in CT and I didn't want to travel. Ended up somehow breaking the motherboard while trying to fix the screen and it had to be sent down to nyc to get it fixed. I got a brand new looking phone but had to reload everything on my phone again and use an old one for a month. The biggest problem was the lack of communication. I would usually have to remember to bug once a week online or phone call and would act like I was bothering them asking about status. Maybe it would be better to put status of your fix online if it's going to take so long so I don't have to keep calling. INCREDIBLY helpful, honest, & openly communicated exactly what was wrong & what needed to be replaced. Didn't try to make me spend more then necessary & 100% FAIREST PRICE AROUND!!! I called multiple places (between kingston & poughkeepsie) they all quoted me at/around/or WAY ABOVE $100 to have a screen replaced for my daughter's iphone... Best price around, & i am so so thankful I chose Cellphone Repair Unlock; Not only did he give me the best price BY FAR; but he showed & explained to my daughter what happened to her phone & the best ways to be careful not to have it happen again. Was told to either go to a phone store or a local phone repair shop to get a phone to boot up.

First store wanted us to buy a monthly service contract at $30/mo on all our electronics (not including phones) and wanted $100/$200 with no guarantee with a credit because we bought the service contract which we could cancel after 2 months. Not!

The next place said it was a software issue they don’t deal with.

Sammy told us the problem before he looked at the phone and got it to boot in 3 minutes and ordered a part and said come back Tuesday. The phone works perfectly. All the data is transferred and backed up. Price was ridiculously low.

Everybody else wanted to sell us a new phone or charge us for repairs we didn’t need or sell us a services contract on other than the phone.
