Boyz From Italy — Restaurant in City of Rome

I wish I could tell you about the food but I didn't eat it. I was going to visit my wife who is in physical rehab, I stopped here to order a medium cheese pizza and 10 wings. I haven't eaten dinner with my wife in weeks since her injury. They said 20 minutes and I said I'll come back. I come back probably 30 minutes later to find that my pizza isn't even in the oven yet.... I have to wait another 20 minutes. Now I will say the guy cooking the pizzas (owner?) Was nice and upgraded my pizza to a large free of charge, awesome! I get back to my wife, open the box and the pizza was clearly under cooked. I don't have pics, I was starving and disappointed. Now this did not have to be a big deal, apparently the restaurant was busy and I get that, sometimes mistakes are made. I bring the pizza back and said the dough is raw. Immediately the cook says whats that mean? I said raw, undercooked. The dough is raw. He says its not raw, I just don't know what melted cheese looks like on the crust. Really? I've been eating pizza all my life, I can tell the difference between raw dough and mozzarella. The guy proceeds to eat the pizza on front of me telling me its delicious and there is nothing wrong with it. Very unprofessional attitude, the 2 women working there were fantastic and helpful. With that being said, maybe dude was having a bad day I don't know. I wasn't even going to do a review until I got so much attitude from the owner/pizza "chef". Ordered a pizza from here at 3pm for a delivery at 6pm for a gathering we were having. At 6:15pm we called them to confirm the pizza was on its way. They confirmed and advised it should be there shortly. At 6:30pm we called again and they said the driver could not find our house. They had delivered to our house on several occasions within the last few months. We waited outside in the cold to attempt to flag down their driver. We then got a call from them saying the driver had gotten a flat tire and if we would like we could drive to their store to pick it up. We had already paid by card and drove to the store. Once I had the pizza in hand I asked why the driver would’ve turned around to drive all the way back to the restaurant if he was close to our home. They stated it was because he couldn’t find our house. They did not apologize for any inconvenience at all. Mind you it was now 7:15 at night with hungry guests at our home who were expecting food at 6pm. I will never do business here again and I would not recommend this pizzeria to anyone as there is a clear disregard for providing...

I’ve never left a negative review before because I hate to complain. I highly respect the restaurant industry and those who work in it, because I do myself. But I think our experience last night was unacceptable. My girlfriend and I ordered a medium pizza + 2 pounds of wings (the special for $21.99) and a small antipasto for $9.99. We got boneless wings by mistake and got charged $55 for our entire order. When asked to fix the problem or get refunded the mistake obviously made, she said it’s because of the boneless wings that we -didn’t order- received. What made me especially angry was who we spoke to said we can only receive store credit, no refund or price fix. (we aren’t regulars so that isn’t very helpful and it wasn’t a mistake made on our end). Disappointed because I don’t even think you can do that if we were given the wrong product.
