NY Department of Motor Vehicles — Local services in City of Rome

I needed a new iPhone 6 back in November on the fly due to a cracked screen and very tired battery! I stopped at 3 stores in Utica and No one in the area had them in stock except the new Verizon store in Rome. They also had a ton of different cases and a sweet glass screen protector fully stocked right there in the store. The gentleman (Eric) even put it on for me (bubble free). We all know they can be a pain!! There was no need for me to go anywhere else for accessories or service after this visit. I always felt pressured and rushed at the corporate Verizon store and that was far from the experience I had here at my new Verizon one stop shop!! Some of my family members have android devices and they also had a ton of accessories and phones in stock for them too. The customer service was great, no waiting like the other place and I was in and out in under an hour! I felt like a person and not just some number on the wall or someone's commission attempt! Must have new people running it because I was in and out both times I went in the last 2 weeks. I had a guy named Don Smith help me out he was very professional and very helpful and his supervisor was great I now have no need to go to wapsville dmv. I can go right here in Rome ny, place was packed but they had 3 lines running super smooth and was only in there for about 15 minutes the Rome dmv is back 5 stars to the management team and the teller don Smith who did a great job and made it fun to go to the dmv. I will highly recommend the Rome dmv to all my friends and family.the Rome dmv fallows all the nys rules and regulations so don't think for a minute there going to break the law for you if you don't have your paper work done right they will tell you and make you do it the right way it's there job on the line if you're paper work is wrong so don't get mad at them if you mess up you're paper work or are trying to break the law there only doing there job just like the guy asking for your driver's license to buy that...

Had to visit here to get a license updated, was surprisingly quick and easy. We already had all our paperwork filled out and I brought all the needed documents. There was a short wait time as there wasn't many people at the time we got there around 11am on a Monday. Finding information on the websites were very confusing in order to find the most up to date information and opening hours as the sites keep pointing to other sites and the poor layout adds to the confusion. Other than that, was pleasantly surprised at the swift process once we finally got to the office after months of dreading the visit and being confused about whether it was open or not and when.
