Timothy's World- Ramesh Westindian Grocery Store — Local services in City of Schenectady

Took us awhile to realize that she (store) was overcharging us bc we just got comfortable using this spot bc it's so close to us. But after a few trips we started looking at how much we were spending on just a few items so we starting trying other stores in the area and WHOA we were pretty vex when we see how much of a rip off this spot really is. The lady is not that nice either she very rude. Their produce is not that great and we bought 2 bags small fish, (which were covered in tapeworms and freezer burn!)bag of wriwri peppers and a few plantain, come to $70??!!. How sway?!We spent 200 at the Pakistani store down the road and came out with 3 big bags of food and FRESH VEGGIES AND FRUIT. Plus chicken . I can't believe this store even still being patronized when it's obvious she is robbing people and there are so many other options available nearby. This place should be shame. I bet she laughing all the way to the bank but I'm ready to boycott bc it's not cool to be taking advantage of people especially these days when prices crazy all...

The prices Are almost gouging so overpriced especially for a store that doesn't even offer air conditioning in stifling heat, I was really really shocked at the $84 I paid for three was supposed to be red snappers but these have the yellow in them and they were tiny two tomatoes and avocado couple of boxes of Goya products two boxes exactly and some fresh tropical vegetables, the fish was frozen in a plastic bag and there was a ton of build up like freezer burn in it so of course the fish tasted so inferior I should have went with my gut and just canceled the whole order...

I went to this store twice while visiting Schenectady. First of all, I appreciate that this family is offering a service to West Indians in this area. However, there needs to be more lighting in the store and it would help if the staff was friendlier. The vegetables were of a poor quality and the bread that I bought was moldy in two days.
