Wegmans — Local services in City of Syracuse

I been shoppin at Wegmans for years but let me tell you, this was the WORST experience I ever had and I won’t be comin back. I was in isle 18a lookin for my things and I asked a young man for help. First off, he wasn’t even wearin a name tag I asked him his name he kept cuttin me off sayin huh, huh, huh like he couldn’t hear me. I KNOW HE HEARD ME I was standin right there in front of him and he just stood there smirkin like I was the joke so then another worker walk by and I asked him, do you know this boy’s name? and he said no he didn’t know. Now how in the world do you work in the SAME STORE SAME UNIFORM and you dont even know your coworkers name?? That don’t make no sense at all. These employees are coverin for each other. IT’S A SCHEME Wegman I SEE what you doin u trainin these workers to hide their names cover up their rudeneses and protect each other instead of helpin the paying customer. Whole culture of disrespect. Let me tell you Wegmans should be ASHAMED. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS LOWER THAN LOW. I’ll be tellin everyone I know not to shop...

Wegmans for the most part is a great store. My one issue though is their reliance on Wegmans brand grocery products rather than name brands. You see less and less name brands as time goes on. That's not to say Wegmans brand is bad. It's sometimes better and def on par with name brands. Its just that sometimes your used to those and want them. Other than that their bakery is amazing (except they stopped frosting cookie cakes and only do by request) and their subs are the best. Staff is always friendly (for the most part. I've had rude and nosey cashiers before. Nosey as in asking how much money I make because I always budget my food costs. Obviously I don't spend more than a certain amount because I can't afford it. Wegmans is getting very disappointing. Eggs were cracked in the carton. I picked up another carton of eggs and when I got to the register I noticed part of the styrofoam was missing. Mentioned it to the lady at the checkout and she acted like I was bothering her to tell her. It was raining when I left so an employee (male) followed me out to my car and stood there while I loaded my groceries. Didn't bother to offer to help. He just waited for my cart so he could take it. Whatever happened to customer service? Wegmans produce is wilted at best. The bananas were all green, not even near ripe.
