Mingold Kitchen Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Geddes

We ordered from here the other night. I was told it would be 60-70 minutes for delivery. When we got it there the sweet and sour 8 oz cup only had about a teaspoon of sauce in it. I called them back and asked them to send another sauce. I was asked if I wanted a 8 oz of it. I said yes. After I hung up we realized there was only one soup. We ordered 2 soups, no fried noodles for the soup. I called back and talked to the manager again. She said she would have the soup and sauce delivered right away. We waited about a half hour. We live about 5 minutes away. I called again and asked for the manager. Asked her where are stuff was. She said, Oh you didn't get it yet? No we didn't. She then said ok I'll have him bring it. Meanwhile the chicken is cold and no sauce. The soup that did came was for me to take to my husband to eat. Finally the young man comes with the stuff. He was apologizing for the mix up. I hand him the 8 oz container with the teaspoon of sauce and told him to give it to the manager and ask her what were suppose to do with this little bit sauce. It was enough for 1 piece of chicken. I opened the new container and that one had maybe 2 teaspoon of sauce. I finally realized (because this happened before with the sauce and I had to pay for what they called extra sauce) they use a 8 oz Styrofoam cup and only put in maybe a tablespoon of sauce. But stupid me thought if I said yes I want a 8 oz that the cup would at least be filled up like other places do. After all that, my brother says to me we didn't even get any fortune cookies. We used to really like the place but no...

Tried calling to Place order for pickup, no answer 3 times. But we're babysitting and starving so I used the eats app. Which was fine ...I get the email that days order ready at 649, he leaves, gets there and finds out they just got the order, itll be another 10 minutes, ok fine except the game comes on at 7...anyway, we both order hunan dishes, medium hot. Well the only thing hot is the is the temperature. 0 and I mean ZERO Spice and not much other flavor. I would like to call them back but I am sure the phone wouldn't be answered. My husband ate a little than threw it out and said he wouldn't feed it to a dog, I ate as much of the fried rice as I could and then tossed mine as well. Wouldn't waste the money unless you're looking for something better...

The food is usually ok, but the service is terrible. They always mess up the order, often don't even answer the phone, and they offer delivery but even manage to find excuses to not deliver. The cooks will insult the customers in Chinese, apparently they don't understand that some white people actually speak Chinese. What a joke of a place. Like all the rest of the sub-par Chinese places in the area, do yourself a favor and skip this place. The clowns who run it will not appreciate your business. They will most likely insult you in Chinese when you come to pick it up, and they won't care if you are not satisfied with your overpriced meal. I won't be going...
