I am first time dog owner and my dog was violently ill on every food I tried. I tried probably ten brands with a mixture of no gluten, corn, soy, wheat, milk, egg, etc. I could not figure out what was making her sick. I was driving by and decided to go in. I told Adam (the owner) all about my dog’s problems and he thoroughly explained to me about the different brands that would be good to try and what brands are good for what things. He told me about the recalls for the brand if they had any and did not push me to buy anything at all. I was concerned about the cost so he even told me that x is a lower priced version of y and weighed the pros and cons for me. He also helped me navigate the price differences in the brand to help me choose the right thing. I spent over an hour that day and I left with samples for two of the brands. One was a winner (Acana)!!! I came back to buy a huge bag and then I talked with him for another good 49 minutes about what training treats to buy. A few months later, I came in and asked about raw hide chews and we talked pros and cons and what people’s concerns were for another good 40 minutes, we also talked expensively about tools to slow my dog’s eating, and toys. HE IS SO KNOWLEDGEABLE. He takes the time to answer my MILLION questions and talk about all my worries. Sunny’s is not close to my home so it takes a trip to go there, BUT it is so worth it for the care and customer service I get there. I would 100% trust anything that Adam suggests. He knows the products inside and out. Great resource for first time pet owners. They also have a reward program where every $100 you spend (not limited to be in one month like box stores) you get a $5 reward and I don’t believe it expires. I come once a month for a bag of dog food, treats, and any questions I have. The store is small but it is stocked literally to the ceiling. It is full and they have a stock room stacked to the ceiling. There is a huge range of options. I seriously cannot recommend Sunny’s enough. Our pets are our babies and it is amazing to have somewhere to go...

I can't believe I haven't written a review about this place yet, I don't go anywhere else for my cats(would be dogs too if I had them) top of the line products and premium prices make this the pet store to visit. You can tell the owner actually cares about animals and is an awesome guy, just be cordial and polite please, we all have enough on our plate without being nasty to each other, and if you have to ask 100 questions, atleast buy something on the way out. I am NOT affiliated with this shop in anyway, I've just seen a few things that bother me on the customers end(basically asking how could he not have a certain item, or asking for something special and basically not picking it up) he will order you anything pretty much as long as you have the money and it's legal basically, so go here for your pets needs, he has a few exotic items, but for your basic companion animal items it's all healthy and there's not much missing. So yeah, I'd give it 7 stars if I could. The best part is leaving the store after the purchase and not feeling like you got bent over the counter and screwed...

I chose to drive some distance to Sunny’s, for a product I cannot get locally, based on reading some of these online reviews, which are very positive. And, I’m glad that I did. I went into the store today, had a very good conversation with the owner about our dogs, canine health concerns and the challenges of running one’s own business. His customer-oriented service etiquette shows: He produced the item that he had kindly ordered for me from behind the counter, even though I am not a regular customer, had put up no deposit, and I was several weeks later than anticipated in picking it up, on top of showing up unannounced today. I was surprised and touched that he had kept it for me, rather than just putting it back into inventory for his regular clientele.
