Extremely, extremely displeased with my experience here. I cannot recommend anyone dignify Tap That Tap Room with your business.
The establishment advertised an event via fliers that started at 6:30pm. I arrived early, but I waited for nearly an hour and a half past the advertised event start time. The event in question was a contest with alleged prizes. Early into the evening I asked what might have happened had I been the only participant and if I would win by default. The hostess said this was the case. Another event was beginning at 8pm. As 7:45pm rolled around, I asked the hostess how much longer I should wait as the next event was starting. The hostess explained to me that they advertised the event early and said people will show up for it later, implying that the event I was present for and the 8pm football game event were linked and I should wait possible hours more. In no way case or form was this detail advertised in writing, or even specified to me earlier in the night when I previously inquired about the details of the event I was present for directly. Needless to say, I was very infuriated by this establishment's lack of clear advertising and egregious waste of my time. I attempted to address this issue of deceptive advertising by pointing out the misinformation of their flier, a staff member pulled on their phone in an attempt to disprove my claim, however she went completely passed the flier in question and pointed out a social media post yielding completely different information not represented on their flier. Additionally, their flier did not advertise a social media or supply any links for this additional and crucial information to be accessible and attainable. The staff were very rude, made assumptions about myself and were extremely dismissive and stormed off mid conversation at times. I never rose my voice or attacked any of the staff's character, however they made baseless assumptions about me and were rather condescending. I found that very uncalled for.
I'm afraid the above was merely one issue. I found their prices to be quite egregious. The establishment offers no fountain drinks, asks $3 for mere canned beverages, and I found myself paying double for a meal I could receive at other similar eateries, as well as being in greater quantity at said other establishments. While the food itself was not bad mind you, it wasn't particularly great, and for the absorbent price my meal cost for what it was, one might expect it to be to justify such a steep cost.
No menus are provided. Unless you go up to the podium which is often unmanned and directly inquire, their unreasonably priced selection will be a mystery to you if not a shock to your wallet.
While this issue cannot be attributed to the establishment or their policies, some of the other patrons there were also loud, boisterous and demanding. Not particularly pleasant to be around. Similarly, they appear to let animals, very large animals in the establishment. Of course different owners will yield differently obedient pets, but if you are someone who might have allergies or fear of dogs, caveat emptor.
The only compliments I can give is that there were several card games available for people to play and seemed to have a decent atmosphere. Despite these fleeting positives, I believe Tap That Tap Room is an overwhelmingly poorly managed, staffed and unreasonably priced. If I could supply less than 1 star(s), I absolutely would. I cannot in good conscience advise anyone to give them your patronage and emplore you to seek out a different, kinder, and more deserving place of business to satisfy your needs...

A simple Instagram message blossomed into a full-blown birthday bash, complete with a warm welcome and carte blanche to set up shop. The side-door entry and "make yourself at home" vibe? Chef's kiss. The self-serve tap system is undeniably the star of the show. It’s a brilliant concept, allowing you to sample a delightful array of local and seasonal brews without committing to a full pint. Think of it as a beer tasting adventure, where you're the captain of your own flavor exploration. And the card system? Seamless. The atmosphere is a delightful blend of laid-back and lively. Board games, friendly pups, and a genuinely welcoming staff create a community feel that’s hard to replicate. Speaking of the staff, they were patient, accommodating, and downright lovely. The food, a range of appetizers, was solid – perfect for soaking up the suds. The nachos and pretzel sticks get a special shoutout. And let's not forget the clean, private bathrooms – a small but significant detail that elevates the experience.
The ever-changing tap selection, the engaging atmosphere, the stellar staff, and the sheer fun of the self-serve concept make this tap room a must-visit. Whether you're there for trivia, karaoke, a game, or just a casual hangout, Tap That delivers a memorable experience. I’ll be back, and I’m bringing...
Read moreMessaged on Instagram about wanting to bring a few people in and was advised that there will be a Bandits watch party on the same date and time. I invited all of my friends and threw myself a birthday party. Upon arrival, I called and asked if I could enter the side door to bring my stuff in and the woman on the phone was very nice and said of course! I was reassured that I could set up however I needed. It's a spacey area. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and they were okay. The taps and the card system is cool, I thought that was nice and different. My friends and I love trying new places so I figured this would be something new to try. There are board games and dogs are allowed so I got my fair share of pets in from friendly dogs. The staff was accommodating, patient and friendly. My only complaint is that all of the TVs had the Bandits game on & we asked for one TV to play March Maddness basketball and were told "No because the owner wants all to play the Bandits game" Considering we had a party of 12 and most of the restaurant was empty, it was a little rude. But other than that, I really enjoyed the space and will...
