Change is inevitable, and I have witnessed it firsthand during my tenure at this establishment, having served under three different owners. The building has undergone numerous transformations, and I suspect the walls could share tales of my experiences here. The ambiance has evolved, along with the fragrance that now permeates the air, which I find quite pleasant. The décor has been tastefully updated with a fresh coat of paint and some aesthetic enhancements. However, the restrooms are in dire need of attention.
Regarding the culinary offerings, I must commend the steak sandwich and nachos for their exceptional taste. The kitchen staff deserves praise for their prompt service. I have also noticed some new faces among the staff, which is a positive development.
Overall, I believe the establishment is on the right track, and I applaud your efforts to bring your unique touch and elevate the overall experience. None of our food came out within a reasonable (under two hours) amount of time and some food didn’t even come out at all. As I am writing this review there is an employee on the front porch (where guests enter) swearing and spitting on the ground. There was an awful karaoke session going on that was so loud we couldn’t even speak to our server to ask to have the items we didn’t even receive removed from our check. Servers just avoided our table and didn’t offer any help. Wings were really good, a little milder than what we are used to so if you usually like medium wings I suggest ordering hot. We had some hot butter leftover from the clams and dipped the wings in that and it was really good. Their blue cheese is house made, so that's always a plus. Serving sizes are big. They had some really great specials going so it ended up being only about $100 before tip for dinner for 5 people, including multiple drinks and 2 dozen clams for an appetizer!
