Utica University Nexus Center — Local services in City of Utica

Utica spends hundreds of thousands of dollars to put in a sports complex but there’s nowhere in the entire city to play basketball indoors. Good thing we have an ice skating rink for all 7 of those avid hockey players that live here in central New York :l. I’ve lived in this city my entire life and not once in 28 years have I met a single person who plays hockey. None of the schools in the area have a hockey team but we have a state of the art arena in our backyard for what? Spend money on things the community can actually use and enjoy instead of something only entitled rich kids...

Love this rink. Parking is easy. The cafe area is great. Three rinks that are easy to get to. One has amazing seats and the other two have nice vantage points from catwalk.

Connected to the ADK Bank Center and with multiple events, you can get between buildings without having to go outside.

Only issue is the pro shop not open enough. Not many places locally cater to hockey player needs and the more that is open, the better to get skates sharpened and buy some...

I don't often Write reviews, But I felt in this case it was well warranted. I purchased tickets to an event this weekend, and my card was double charged. I called to inquire, And although we found out that the arena did not have any control over this, and it was in fact my bank at fault, The arena staff, Namely Tyler, Was incredibly helpful with rectifying this issue!
