What a find! We were spending our daughters first birthday at the Bronx Zoo and on our way back up to Westchester, we were searching for highly rated bakeries with GREAT cupcakes and this incredible location popped up. We immediately put the address in our GPS and made our way over to Yonkers. Immediately upon entering we were greeted by Aurea who we believed to be the owner. She was so sweet and hospitable and welcoming. We felt at home within seconds! She took the time to walk us through the selection and had such calming approach to the sale. She wasn’t pushing us to order more than we needed and was incredibly helpful and patient with us. We decided to get a full dozen to try as many flavors as we could. When we got back home and actually got to try them, we were honestly floored by the quality. The cake was moist. The icing wasn’t overly sweet. The toppings held their integrity and didn’t get soggy. Aurea is absolutely one of the best people ever. Hey shop was built with nothing more than hard work, blood, sweat, tears and a whole ton of massive love. The candy is sweet and the atmosphere is even sweeter. Everyone of all ages will love this hidden gem that sits right in plain sight of McLean Ave.

One of the things you have to try are the ices she makes because they are just so creamy and not like those fake ice and food coloring ones you get from other lie grade places. Also, allot of the items in store are hand made, like the cake toppers, cards and soaps. She also is hosting special sessions either for kids or just for adults to express their real creative side in a fun and fantastic environment. If you have nothing to do on a weekend (or weekday), then you should make it a priority to stop in, grab an ices, chat for a bit and enjoy good chocolate and candy with the little ones or your few close friends.
