Was excited to see the Grand Opening banner a few weeks back and I finally dropped in to try this place a little while ago. It's small, so there isn't much seating except two chairs by the window. It's an in and out quick kind of place.
They have a nice variety of flavors, about 8 or 10 in all. The owner made a big deal that all the treats are made with agave and not sugar... even though that nectar IS sugar. You can't blame them for trying to stand out.
When I dropped in they had some froyo and sorbet. I tried almost everything and it all tasted a little over sweet. Agave nectar ha a cloying taste that overwhelms when you use too much, and I think they did. The flavors weren't bad, just not so balanced.
This froyo is not the Pinkberry/Red Mango kind of tart yogurt, it's more like TCBY in that it tastes a lot like ice cream instead of like yogurt. If you're into that, yay! If you're addicted to Pinkberry, you're not going to get your fix here.
