Metate #2 — Restaurant in City of Yonkers

If I could rate Zero stars I would. I have ordered twice before and while the fish tacos have been dry, the steak and chorizo options were pretty good. HOWEVER, we had company over and decided to order. We received the completely wrong order and called the restaurant and calmly explained the mix up, fully believing we would be able to get our correct order. We spoke with an incredibly rude employee who cut us off every chance she had and told us there was nothing they were going to do. She blamed the delivery driver and said he probably switched the order with someone else’s and that’s not their fault. I said that if it weren’t for our food allergies we would have just eaten the food because we liked their restaurant previously, but it was still most certainly their responsibility. She rudely told us it was not their problem and hung up on us. Safe to say we will never order from them again and will tell everyone we know to not...

Metate #2 is just what Yonkers needed authentic Mexican food that is always fresh and taste incredible! The only thing better than the food is the customer service. I placed an order and the can of soda was accidentally left out I called and told them they forgot the can of Sprite it wasn't an issue at all it was sent right out to me without any hassle. They are very polite and accommodating to they're costumers. The food is fresh and flavorful. My go to is the steak burrito and the loaded steak tacos absolutely incredible! If you on the fence about ordering from Metate #2 don't be place an order and experience this Yonkers gem for yourself. They take credit, debit, and cash upon delivery making it extremely convenient. Not for the weak stomach 🤮I ordered a chicken soup and a mango drink, it was through the uber app. I called to the restaurant to ask if they had the items available, I should have known better when I asked the guy a simple question of what the soup contained, he did not know what ingredients it had.. nonetheless I was in need of the soup because I’m getting over a bad cold.
