Shop Fair of Yonkers — Local services in City of Yonkers

I was so happy to learn that they finally opened a new supermarket around the square being that Shoprite was the only local option for years but it has lots of cons more than pros. The selection is good. You can find what your looking for but it's too high priced for my taste and when your going to check out, the prices never match. Always ring up different. After getting overcharged so many times, I finally learned to take pics of the signs put up and take my time at the register with certain items. They get aggravated I guess being that they need to call the manager to get an override ALOT. Price things correctly and this won't happen! Also, to give a complaint to me is useless. They ALL back each other up. Probably a cultural thing idk. My biggest issue is lots of the items are expired. Take time checking the expiration dates. You'll see what I'm talking about. And the produce is wayyy to expensive and also not fresh. I go there when I absolutely HAVE to and when I do ALWAYS end up spending more than $100 on very few items. They have free delivery for over $50, lines go quick and close at 9pm so...

I have gone into Shop Fair in Yonkers on a few occasions and have been standing in long lines to pay for groceries and the Hispanic cashier let people cut in front of me because they are Hispanic. I have seen it done to White Shoppers And African American Shoppers. They act like they don’t hear you complaining how long you have been standing in line and it’s not fair or acting like they can’t understand you because they speak a little English. You also get certain items that are spoiled or moldy.treat ALL PAYING CUSTOMERS WITH THE SAME RESPECT. And keep FRESHER PRODUCTS that are not bad before we take them out the store. Today I was there with my grandma and my grandma was paying with Apple Cash. The cashier was getting mad because the keypad was not accepting Apple Pay. So I told the lady to cancel the order because my grandma wanted to go back and get more oxtails anyway the lady proceeded to forcefully take out the items and put them on the counter and then when we asked her can we get the Ivan‘s back to go put them in the car cause we’re gonna shop more cause my grandma’s not done yet she blatantly ignored us so my grandma had to ask her multiple times to pass her the items back and she had an attitude ignoring us while the fake security guard was just standing there...
