I bought a 3 piece furniture set in August of 2020. It arrived February of 2021. They brought me the wrong furniture. They brought a brown/gray set and I ordered blue. It was a very unique beautiful shade of blue. My mother and I were going on and on and on to the salesman about the color, it was the SOLE REASON I ordered it. And I know he (salesman) remembers. Now they won't refund the warranty which is the fabric spray they put on it to protect it. And they were going to resell it to someone else and charge them for the spray thats already on it. The salesman and manager then told me that I just dont remember what I ordered. I'm a 44 year old hair dresser and I KNOW MY COLORS. So insulting. I even went out and purchased other items for my house that would match the new furniture. I'm redoing my entire house and was going to purchase new furniture for every room. I will never shop there again and I will be certain to spread the word of what they have done to me. The delivery people told me that it was taking so long to get furniture in because of covid and they were having a hard time getting fabric. So my best guess is they couldn't get the blue fabric anymore so they switched to the brown/gray color. Seems to be the logical explanation. I'm considering taking them to court. It's not even about the money anymore. It's the lying and the way I was treated. I was very patient with how long it took to come in but for them to act like I'm stupid is unexceptable. I KNOW what I ordered. I wouldn't even have stopped and looked at the brown one I hate brown. Never EVER would have ordered that color, theres nothing brown in my house! I dont even wear brown. Read moreAfter my refrigerator failed in 90 degree temps on a Sunday evening, I was lucky enough to find the model I wanted, IN STOCK at VanDrie's, and they could deliver it in two days! Shelly Hamblin is my sales associate. She was so helpful and went the extra distance to look into the model I wanted as I didn't see it on the sales floor. She had two in the warehouse; without her checking my model number, I would have left empty-handed. She showed me realistic savings comparisons of Energy Star and the non-certified model, and she made the paperwork simple. She's just great to work with. I called 3 weeks later to purchase the extended warranty, and she had the paperwork prepared and waiting for me at the cashier's desk that afternoon. Additionally, she's friendly, professional and personable. No high pressure approach, which I appreciate.
The delivery staff, Darren and Doug, were super. I noticed their communication as they maneuvered the stairs up into the house, the last one being higher. Also, it didn't go unnoticed when one of them intentionally placed his hand on the bottom corner of my new fridge when rounding a corner in order to avoid denting either the refrigerator or my wall! Really liked the Track a Truck feature on the website so I had a pretty precise time of delivery.
My experience with VanDrie from the beginning has been very smooth. I'm hoping I don't require service, but if I do, it's nice to know they are my point of contact in coordinating it.
