Today's Word You may have heard that it takes six seconds to make a first impression. Most people donât realize how many times they look at someone and instantly decide if theyâre going to like them or not. The Scripture says that man looks at the outward appearance of others while God looks at the heart. You canât see a personâs heart as He can, but as Jesus said, you can look beneath the surface. You can take time to get to know someone who might look or act differently than you. Donât just write someone off because they donât measure up to your standards. You never know how God will use that relationship in your life.
Jesus said, âWhatever youâve done to the least of these, youâve done to Me.â In other words, when we make quick judgments about people, itâs as if we are making quick judgments about God. Donât fall into that trap. the surface. Look for the good in others, find some common ground, and watch God bless you with new friends you never imagined.

   Read moreMy wife made an appointment at Alabaster which is considered the corporate store. I referred her there because of the experience that I had previously. Her appointment was for 9 and got to the store at 8:45. When the doors were unlocked they took the three walk in customers that checked in only because they were waiting on the sidewalk and not my wife that made an appointment due to our little boy's birthday outing. After sitting there for almost 2 hours with no help I called Clanton. Jagger said that there would be no problem getting her fixed up today. She drove the 45 minutes back to Clanton and he took care of within 45 minutes and she was set to go. She mentioned while in there he took care of 4 other customers while taking care of her need (where as tbere was 3 employees at the other location that apparently can't multi-task)...sometimes corporate is good but most of the time supporting the local store are even better! I really was not looking forward to going because my experiences at most other AT&T stores have been fairly poor - long waits, subpar customer service, and too many gimmicks. However, today, I was met with an incredibly huge smile and a received stellar help from a young man named Brandon. He was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond what I would expect from any associate. He was extremely friendly and respectful to both my husband and me, and he went over the top to make sure we were satisfied with the service we received. This young man should absolutely be in management. He is intelligent and knows how to talk to people.
