I am 70 years old so I needed “special care” when I called Cash and Carry Furniture (part of Love’s Bedding and Furniture) to ask about purchasing a new recliner. Raquel answered the phone and put me immediately at ease when I told her I could not come into the store and no way to pick up the recliner. I told her I had seen the Beast recliner on the website, and was wanting to purchase it. Raquel talked to me about this recliner, giving me the measurements and other specs. She felt it was going to be too big, but I insisted. The Beast was delivered within a few days. It was enormous for 5’4” me. The delivery guys took my old recliner with them and left asking me to be sure I was satisfied. I assured them the chair would work. It did not work. It was way too big for me. My feet didn’t reach the floor sitting on the edge of the chair, and I didn’t have the strength to use the manual recline handle. I called Raquel the next morning and told her. The delivery guys came back with my old recliner and to pick up the Beast. Of course I apologized to all concerned. Every one was so gracious and told me they wanted me to have the chair I needed and wanted me to be happy. Raquel told me about a power lift chair she was confident would be a good fit for me. This time I listened and agreed that the recliner she recommended would suit me best. This recliner was delivered today and is beautiful! I tried it out, and it fits me perfectly. The lumbar support is fantastic, and the power recline and lift are features I definitely need at this stage of my life. I can’t imagine ever shopping for furniture anywhere else. They truly want you to have what you need and to be happy with...

The staff is over the top helpful! There is NEVER any pressure to buy. They take their time to answer any questions you have and do whatever it takes to help in making a decision. They are also careful to not push their tastes onto you but guide you toward what you personally like. Our first purchase was a memory foam mattress with the help of Bob. We've had it for 3 years now and still love it. Next I wanted to look for a living room set. We first had April come to our home to help with some ideas for changing our living room over. She had some GREAT ideas. But again no pressure to buy buy buy. We did decide on a sofa and yes it took us over a year before I went back and worked with Laura this time to decide on a color and i wanted to make sure the model was what we wanted. I absolutely love this story, they have a little bit of everything you go in and you feel like you’re shopping in Connecticut and the people that work there are absolutely fabulous. Very nice and do not follow you around. They say hello is there anything that you’re looking for in particularly today ? Or are you just browsing ? I usually say just browsing 😊 and they usually say OK great ,if you need any help or any questions? Just holler, which is wonderful because it gives you time to look around and trust me there’s a lot to look at, Absolutely beautiful furniture. have purchased from this store several times throughout the years and I have not been dissatisfied ever.
