This place was a disaster. Not only were my kids miserable, but the staff were unhelpful. One of the staff members offered to put up 12 lunchables I brought with me so they didn’t get bad and she never did and I wasn’t about to get all 3 of my kids redressed just to go ask again. I also asked for a bandaid for my daughter because her entire fingernail came off. They didn’t deliver on that either. Can’t do therapy unless you do a handful of group session first, they give you a voucher to get clothes for your kids at this place but I couldn’t find any clothes there for my oldest son and he only had a single outfit. No trash can in the room, the beds aren’t meant for little children. My daughter, son, and even myself who is pregnant got hurt in that room more times than I can count in just the 2 weeks we stayed there. The food they have was awful. There wasn’t a wide selection unless you count seasoning and they only had frozen juice you had to make and koolaid but no sugar and my kids won’t drink any of those things. Didn’t even have bottled water. Me and my kids got the flu and there are little babies at the shelter so I communicated with them and told them I’d stay at my mom’s until we were better. In only a few days I went to go retrieve my things just to find out I was locked out and couldn’t get back inside so I called the crisis line. They said I have to come get my things Monday-Friday before 5 which is now hard since I have a job. The play room locks from the outside meaning I can’t get to my kids if one of them shuts the door and it’s an automatic lock. Can’t get my laptop that is my one prized possession, my phone charger which I need my phone for work now, the rest of my kids clothes, our blankets, my sons asthma medication. I don’t recommend this...

I highly recommend this place to women that want change. The staff go out of their way to help with anything that is needed. Of course they can't make all the women happy that come through here simply because some aren't ready for change. Each woman that comes through this place has so many resources ready to help her take those steps to a safer and happier life. I do hope the staff knows that everything they do for us plants a seed of faith for change. Seeing some of the negative reviews saddens me simply because every staff member there is there to do just that and from experience that's exactly what they have done for me. Thank...

I bought a little girl a tablet for Christmas and delivered it myself to the facility.The mother was kicked out in a rushed way and made her have to leave things behind which included the child’s tablet and when I tried to get it back to mail it to the child they said the mother would have to come get it knowing the mother didn’t have a car and lived an hour away from the facility. They also informed her that they threw the mother’s personal belongings in the trash which included photos of her dead mom....
