(I know this review is really for the County Fair, but it was held in this location) Attended the Fair here for the first time. I understand they had the big ceiling fans going in the outside barn area, but ALL of the animals were panting heavily in their pens. A few of the chickens were laid over on their sides barely taking breaths in. It should be one of the rules for the next fair that you take your animals home after the judging is complete. They were doing the cows when we arrived late after 3pm, and it was very hot inside there. There was someone going around to the cages refilling their water and feed, but you could tell they were too hot to even drink. Some of the owners had attached their own fans to the pens with the goats/sheep, but the ones without them they appeared to be sleeping barely breathing.
We did enjoy the inside where the vendors were set up, and spent a lot of funds after sampling the incredible fudge, salsa's and dips.
Where the fair was actually set up in the parking lot was super hot as well with no misters/fans setup that we could see anywhere. The prices for the rides and food vendors was higher priced than Six Flags. We will attend another fair here, but will know what to expect when the temps are in...

Read moreCame to the monster truck event held here... Left after 30mins, along with numerous of other people... 4 trucks.. and tiny arena.. the side doors were open which allowed some sound to escape until it started and they closed them all..... I understand monster trucks are loud but this was deafening!!! Even with headphones and earplugs!! We had hearing loss and ringing for 2+ hours after... Not worth it.. And in my opinion better arrangements shoud be made for those disabled instead of having to be in front of the front row of the risers and then they feel bad for blocking the walk way but they cant go...
