Harbor Freight — Local services in Claremore

Lots of tools with decent prices although not always the best quality. Good enough for that one off project you need that special tool for but don't need the high dollar tool. Staff is friendly but not very helpful. I walked the store four times trying to find an item that was listed on the website. The website stated the store had it stocked. Finally when I could not locate it I ask an employee that was standing up front where to find it. He pointed. Then said it's on a table. I'm sorry, Harbor Freight generally doesn't have things on tables. I went back there and looked. Didn't see anything like it. Went back to the front and saw him going to the stock room. I walked into the warehouse and yelled out apologizing for wasting his time and ask if he could please show me where the part was. He stated he just found one in the stock room and brought it to me. Then when checking out another customer ask where a part was. Again he stopped and pointed and told them aisle four at the end. I stated it would be a lot more helpful if you would actually walk that customer to where that part is. I was told by the cashier that they cannot do that. That there's not enough staff and they both need to be upfront. You have the same employee walked into the stockroom. And I didn't see him at all my first three go rounds. The employees at the new location in Claremore are always friendly and helpful. Harbor Freight has fairly decent prices for tools and misc household items of fairly decent quality. If you are looking for stuff that's meant to last 10 or 20 years, you should probably shop somewhere else. If, on the other hand, you are looking for something for light use or as a quick fix, then you will find lots of bargains. I've been disappointed in Harbor Freight lately, though. They quit offering coupons and most of their sales are for "members only." I do not shop there enough to make the $25/year membership...

I'm a guy who will regularly patron and recomend Harbor Freight. Every store I've been to is good but this Claremore location stands out. I've been waiting for the Braun tactical light to come back in stock. When I came in and started looking around an employee immediately came over and asked to help. The cashier was efficient and friendly. Being Saturday, the store is pretty busy but I waited in line for less than 2 minutes and I was out the door in about 5 minutes. Now I'm sitting in the parking lot trying to find an excuse to go back...
