This place might be ok for jewelry repair but don’t take any amount of scrap gold with value to this establishment.I had hundreds of grams of scrap gold I inherited that I took to Tony (owner) we weighed everything out got receipts for everything stating the weight but some of the jewelry had stones in it. Tony said he’d remove the stones and we would weigh everything again. I never got to see the total weight after stones were removed and received a check 6 days after taking him the jewelry after gold prices had plummeted and after Tony promising me he wouldn’t and has never done that, what he did was cash the jewelry in when prices were high and waited till they were down to pay me. I had 14 pieces of nice jewelry most being rings that he wanted to put on consignment telling me multiple times it would be a 70 30 split ( I get 70% of the sale, Tony gets 30%) which I was more than good with, after several months had gone by I got a call from Tony stating he had sold six items, after arriving to get my portion he had no receipts (proof of sale) stating the amount he actually sold the items for and on top of that telling me we would split everything down the middle 50 50. I promise this guy is a scam artist and a master manipulator. He comes off as very nice and friendly and one that can be trusted but he is anything and everything but that. I gave one star only because I had to to be able...
Read moreTook a watch in for a simple battery replacement the first week of February, after taking the watch in the back to change said battery owner claimed the pin in the band came out and he could not get it back in. The owner asked my husband to return in a few hours so he could get the pin in. Upon returning later that day the watch had not been fixed and we were told to come back the following week. This went on for nearly TWO MONTHS! Come to find out the watch was given to someone else to fix and it was excuse after excuse every week. While speaking with the owner during one visit he told me the pin was broken when we brought it in and that’s what we asked him to fix but that was not true. We just needed a battery!!!! My husband wore the watch into the jewelers, then he said the pin just fell right out when he went to change the battery. After nearly two months I asked for the watch to just be returned. I picked up my item yesterday and he didn’t even give me the pin back. So the pin that fell right out, that they have been trying to get back into the watch for two months isn’t even there. I noticed he also likes to insult anyone who leaves a bad review or make an excuse for his behavior but this was 100% poor business on his part. His attitude was very nonchalant as he could care less and thought this situation was...
Read moreWhat a dishonest, deceitful, devious, lying, untrustworthy individual Tony is. We brought a ankle bracelet in for a minor repair, while also bringing several pieces of jewelry from a relative that we simply wanted to know which was costume jewelry and which had any value. Tony looked at each and gave his opinion. Only when I go to pickup the bracelet, Tony now tells me he's charging an extra $50 for the $45 repair ($95 total) of the bracelet because we took his time when determining which of the pieces we brought in had any value. That was probably 15-20 minutes. If Tony's time is SO valuable that he wants to charge us, he should have been UPFRONT and told us at the time. Don't be a weasel and tack the extra $50 after the fact, and not inform us. Knowing this, how can anyone trust this guy to be honest and forthright? "The person who is trustworthy in very small matters is also trustworthy in great ones; and the person who is dishonest in very small matters is also dishonest...
