The Flower Shoppe Of New Albany — Local services in Clarksville

I am a local flower farmer and contacted The Flower Shop to see if they would like to have a local supplier of flowers. I spoke to a young woman and she said to bring in some flowers so the owner could see what I had to offer, so I gathered a few of each flower I had available at that time. I stopped by the shop with the flowers and as I walked in, the young lady behind the counter said that I was supposed to stop by in the afternoon because the owner wasn't available. I said no problem, I hadn't heard that part, I'll leave the flowers and my card, just contact me when she was free. The next morning, after not hearing back, I called to see if the owner had looked at the flowers. I was rudely told that the owner, who I had never talked to or met, had told me that they were busy in the mornings and that I should call when they were not busy. I said ok, got in my car, and went to retrieve my flowers since the rudeness seemed to be a daily occurrence. I walked in, stated my name and that I would like to retrieve my flowers as I was no longer interested in sharing my flowers with The Flower Shop . A young woman, likely the owners daughter, started telling me that I had been told by the owner that they were busy in the morning. The owner was there and was talking with me, and this young lady was still being rude and nasty. She literally lost it, she started yelling for me to leave the store as me and the owner are still speaking to each other. The owner told me that the young lady was being rude because I was rudely asking for my flowers back. I didn't argue, as the relationship wasn't going to happen, and told the young lady to quit speaking to me as she had a nasty attitude. The young lady came from behind the counter and was screaming at the top of her lungs for me to leave as the owner kept teling the young lady to stop. There was no customers in the store, at least 6 employees standing around doing nothing, but they was allegedly to busy for me. So I left, the owner was pleasant during this and I will say she seemed nice, but the young lady was so very rude, I would never do any business with this shop. In reply, I am grateful it happened, better to know at first what you are getting into. To act like this was a scheduling conflict is hilarious, I have never heard of a phone call about dropped off flowers being so offensive and deserving of yelling, screaming, and complete disregard of a potential vendor. The behavior was appalling, even if I was totally to blame, no one deserves being yelled at and talked down to. My review was a peek at this behavior, there's a lot more that could be said. Let me first off start by saying I do not write reviews on pages whether it be good or bad but I was so disappointed by this flower shop that I had to share my experience. I ordered flowers from them for graduation and Mother’s Day and spent over $200.00 and ordered in advance - at least a week and a half. I even made sure to order the deluxe so the flowers would be beautiful and grand and what I received what so disappointing my heart sank as soon as I saw them. There weren’t enough flowers at all and they didn’t even use the vase that was pictured and described to go with the order. What I received literally didn’t even look like the standard order. There were literally a handful of roses in one and less than a dozen roses in the other arrangement. They basically used filler flowers to create the majority of the arrangements. There was so much space between the flowers and roses it just looked so cheap and effortless. For the money that was spent I would have been able to spend half the money and create two beautiful flower arrangement that I could have given my mother and sister and actually been proud to give it to them. I don't even no where to begin but maybe start out with i called talked to the lady placed my order and everything was perfect until my order was delevired I paid 130 dollars for 12 roses and it was suppose to have a mixture of flowers and I told the lady I wanted them to be perfect being that this would be the first time I wasn't home with my wife for v day and she assured me they would be amazing I also order a box of chocolate and upgraded it to the medium package well when they where delivered all she got was 12 roses and a 4.7 oz box of chocolate witch don't get me wrong the roses are pretty but they are not how I ordered them so I called and asked her what went wrong she was very rude and was just making excuses about why they wasn't what I ordered then hung up on me and as she hung up she called me a Jerk so I called back and she said I felt like u where being rude so at this point she actually seen my rude side.. these people are a huge rip off and very unprofessional and I wouldn't...
