I hate to do this because itās normally really good however the last couple of times have been shaken. The waits have been super long so this past Saturday I made an appt for 230..I get there and get put into a chair but they donāt get to me until 320...the girl that comes to do my nails was for a lack of better words hardheaded, I originally had square shaped French tip (white tip was applied) I told her I just needed a repair and a fill, she argued with me about the repair saying it would not look the same and I told her yes it would just use a white tip, she wanted to keep arguing I finally said fine whatever let me see the gel colors, she got them I picked and we started, it is now 335...I tell her that I had to be done by 430...she was goin so slow but was being rough with the drill, she knicked me a couple of times, and then when she started to shape my nails asked what I wanted and I said square she then starts shaping them into a coffin, I stopped her and said I told you square, so she tryās to correct resulting in having to make them shorter all because of 1 nail she misshaped it is now 415 and I had been telling her I have to be done by 430 thatās why I came 2 hours ago she pays me no attention she keeps shaping cuts me again with the file, I finally jerk my hands away from her and tell her I donāt want her to finish she grabbed my hand to pull it back stating she had to finish by this time Iām livid itās 425 and she hadnāt even started to paint them finally another tech came over and told her she would finish...thank goodness for her (lily) she didnāt get me finished until 440 but it wasnāt her fault she finished up and was super sweet but I promise the next time I go the girl named Gia will NEVER touch me again...she gave the worst service...
Update ** I hadnāt been back to this salon since this incident, went back yesterday 7/22 because I was in town and needed to get a full set done, looking back on this review, not much has changedā¦I got there at 10:45 am I didnāt leave until 2:50 p.mā¦ā¦RIDICULOUS amount of time to wait and just to get a full set of basic French tip, I thought the tech looked familiar that I ended up with and I was correct looking backā¦Gia struck again, she is terribleā¦she cut me, she was rough, she was getting cramps in her hand and I told her to relax work them out, whatever she needed to do that would help her, to stop until she felt better, but she wouldnāt, instead she was asking me to run the cramp out, jerking my hand fussing at me to relax, which how I would I, she was cutting me with the file, my nails were filed down to right above my fingertip and was uneven. I was so upset that I was almost in tears, they looked soooo horrible, the other techs kept telling her to stop and that another would finish me up but she wouldnāt listen, they finally made her stop. Another tech came and did the best she could to fix the mess but the whole time Gia kept trying turning around from the next poor soul she was working on to give me dirty looks. She doesnāt need to be a manicurist if she canāt do the job or listen and definitely she shouldnāt try and be intimidating, I mean it this time I wonāt ever step foot back in this establishment. I know that means nothing and they do have some good manicurists but Iām just not taking no more chances ever, my fingers are cut all to hell from her and her non filing skills and my nails though fixed looks like an amateur did them.
While my pedicure was decent, my experience here was irritating and extremely disgusting. When we first walked in, we began looking at the colors - we were immediately shooed away from the area and told to look at the color samples on the ring - totally fine, but if you don't want people to touch the paints, either put them away or put up a sign saying to pick from the color sample rings. I noticed immediately that the samples looked extremely dirty, and that they weren't organized in any recognizable way (there was a 'color changing' section, which didn't indicate what the colors changed to?) - they also had numbers assigned to each color which didn't actually correspond to the paint colors, so the person who did my nails seemed to just pick the closest color from 3 she had picked up (which was fine). Again, my pedicure was fine, but, the entire time we were there, the ladies who did our pedicures did not change their gloves once - the lady who did my sister's feet stopped in the middle of scraping her feet and walked over to the nail colors, grater in hand, to pick up the color rings and hand them to the next customers. Again, she did not change her gloves before or after touching the color ring. It was also annoying that there was no way to tip after the card is run - you have to tell them beforehand how much you want to tip, or be prepared to tip in cash. And AGAIN they did not change their gloves before OR after handling my credit card. I will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreāš½āš½āš½NEVER AGAIN āš½āš½āš½ I passed by this nail salon several times a month and I was curious so I decided to try them since their prices were very reasonable. Letās start off with the positive. Pros: āØRemodeling āØReasonable prices āØAmazing color selection
Cons: āš½I was scolded like a child because I moved my foot where she asked me to move my foot and her gel lamp knocked over āš½ She was so engaged in a conversation with another employee that she was not paying attention and cut me 3 times. I understand accidents happen, however, it wouldāve been nice to have an apology or some some sort of acknowledgment that she cut me āš½ She started the service without asking how I would like my nails cut and started cutting them extremely short so now I have sausages āš½ Racial comments were made because I am Hispanic married to a white man āš½ I became uncomfortable in which my husband saw so I was glad that she skipped a few steps in the service āš½ She did not get a tip because the service and the customer service was horrible āš½ We paid a few minutes before she was done with the topcoat and in their language, they were talking about not getting a tip so she got very rude and started being aggressive with my foot and lightly slapped my calf to leave once the top coat was dry
This was a belated Motherās Day gift and if I did not have her with me, I...
