I NEVER have left a review in my life, but after this experience, I feel like people should know to never come here. I came into the nail salon with my friend. She got a full set for $30 and I got my toes done for $25. She told me since I paid the last time we went, she'd pay this time. Unfortunately, her card declined. She thought it could've just been his register so she went over to the gas station to try to get cash back. I waited for her to call back and she said it didn't work there either. So I went out to my car, and got my credit card. I gave it to him and he said since the first name on the card was different he couldn't take it! I was offering to pay, and he wouldn't accept payment. It is in my mothers name, but it is money from my father, so my mother always gives the card to me. I've used the card everywhere and never had this issue. The last name on the card was even the same. So I call my mother and put her on speaker and she was livid. She gave him permission to use the card but no, this still isn't enough. He calls the POLICE, takes my credit card and license and refuses to give it back and until the cops come. When they arrive, I explain the situation and the police were very helpful and friendly. He told the man " okay, let her call her mother back to verify she can use the card, and take the payment." I call her once again and she told him he can either run the card or I am leaving. I have never in my life been treated this way. And I have filed a police report. Not to mention he was very rude the whole time. My friend accidentally called her full set a "manicure" and he spent 10 minutes correcting her saying whenever she goes somewhere next time not to call it that. He was very rushed on my pedicure and did...
Read moreThey business was clean and the staff was nice, but they were VERY slow, made my cuticles bleed, and the nail art was pretty sloppy and not really in line with what I asked for. The ombré isn’t a smooth transition, either. My nails look like a bootleg version of what I asked for. Mine are on the left and what I asked for is on the right. They also charged 80$!! Which is honestly ridiculous!! I like the length and shape—but the nail art, slow service, and rough treatment of my cuticles make me not want to go back.
My friend also got her nails done here—French tips with hearts—and none of the hearts or the tips are the same size. It’s all very obviously uneven. She had to pay 80$ too.
This place is good if you just want a solid color, but don’t come here if you want nail art
EDIT: coming back to dock another star. The absolutely BRUTAL treatment of my nail beds made it so that, hours later, I am left in EXCRUCIATING pain. All ten of my tender, throbbing nail beds HURT even when they aren’t touched! I have NEVER had this happen to me and the pain is so bad it is difficult to SLEEP! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Too expensive, poorly done art,...
Read moreNot quite sure what happened but I had started going there a couple of months ago and was very pleased with their work. I've went on 3 occasions and was rudely told they have other customers coming in by appt. They initially told me they don't do appts. I'd go b4 9am and wait for them to open and he'd still tell me no, he has customers coming. I'm confused on this because I never had issues b4. 😕 This is just not the way to do business. Never seen a shop turn into appts only and don't mention it. I've been there when customers come in without appts and he takes them. I don't have an issue with appts but it's how he refused, and the tone he used. There are way too many nail shops in this area to be turned away by one, 3 times. So I happily moved on and went elsewhere last week. This rudeness from these nail shops have become wayyyyy too familiar and they are getting comfortable with doing it. So, I took my $50...
