EDIT: I had to remove a star due to a few issues. Unfortunately, when I travelled for my wedding, I tried the dress on one more time just in case I needed to get it pressed again. Not only was it wrinkled (which is mostly due to the type of fabric), but I noticed that after bustling the dress, it was still too long in the back. When bustling a dress, I expected that the dress be the same length all the way around, leaving no room for tripping. I was lucky enough to be able to get in to see another seamstress in Florida. Upon consultation, I was told a few things that made me question my service. Number 1, the dress was never pressed to begin with, despite being told and promised that it was. Number 2, I was told that there was fabric removed from under the dress and the front of the dress was slightly adjusted to be more pleasing to the eye. However, after we looked more closely, it appeared that nothing was changed. Even though everything else written below is true, in the few days leading to my wedding, I felt like I didn't get what I paid for regarding the bustle and had to rush around to get it fixed in time.

Despite all of this, Hanna was still a pleasure to work with. During my first fitting she was able to instantly put me at ease, assuring me that the vision for my wedding dress could be achieved. It was a relief to find someone who genuinely cared about making my dress as special as possible. She went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect, even accommodating last-minute changes with grace and a smile. Her patience and commitment were nothing short of extraordinary. She did everything to make sure that I would feel beautiful and special on my wedding day. Hanna will absolutely have my business from now on! She is a heaven sent angel!!! I called her two days before leaving for my wedding. In tears and panicked because I had just picked my wedding dress up from my final fitting. I originally went to an alterations place the store I bought my wedding dress from suggested but 2 months and 4 appointments later, the dress looked worse than when I took it. Hanna assured me she would do everything in her power to make it right and she squeezed me in between appointments that very same day. She was shocked at the shape my dress was in and with her professional eye she even pointed out things that I didn’t initially notice. Crooked neck line, the left hip was much higher than the right, drooping cups, amateur stitching, the list of everything wrong with dress went ON AND ON. And I paid $700 for these awful alterations! With very little time Hanna somehow fit me into her extremely busy schedule. She even worked on her time off, sacrificing time with her family, just so I could have a dress I would feel beautiful in on my wedding. And after all that she did for me, her prices were still LESS than what I paid for the original alterations.

I can’t tell you how much Hanna’s kindness meant to me. I felt so defeated by the time I called her. My fiancé and I were so excited to get married in 2020 on our 10 year anniversary but Covid 19 changed our plans and we were forced to push our date back an entire year. I was so sad that after waiting for this day for so long, I wouldn’t be wearing the dress of my dreams on my wedding day. I was referred to Hanna from the dress shop where I purchased my wedding gown, Wedding Belles. I had a time constraint to have major alterations done on my gown, as my wedding was a spontaneous elopement, set to take place less than three weeks from my dress purchase. I informed Hanna of this, and she told me she would move mountains to make it happen and get me the dress of my dreams before my big day. There was much to do, from hemming, taking the shoulder straps down and moving them slightly toward to center, making the bodice more snug and adding darts under the breasts to create lift and shaping. Since my gown came with a long lovely embellished trane, it was also necessary for Hanna to add a bustle for easy of movement and walking after the ceremony. Hanna noted all of this and took it in stride at my first fitting. Her team had all of these alterations completed over the weekend so that I could come in for my second fitting just three days later. The dress was amazing. Perfect lift and attention to the embellished bodice. The hemming was perfect and bustle created a beautiful V that really highlighted the buttons and bedazzlement all the way down the trane. I decided I needed just a bit more adjustment to the shoulder straps so that they would not slip and Hanna agreed. By my third and final fitting, the gown was perfect. Four additional loops were added to bustle to ensure the perfect look for reception. I am over the moon happy and feel blessed to have met Hanna and her team. They truly are miracle workers.
