Tl;dr: Food 5/5 âď¸s. Experience 3/5âď¸s.
Food: Amazing. Hot. Fresh. Didnât take long to receive. Will definitely order again.
Experience: Meh. The signs say theyâre open late, but there arenât any hours posted. There also werenât any cars in the parking lot and you cannot see inside from the parking lot. So when we went their for a late lunch, we were a little confused. Inside, we were greeted by a woman wearing Crocs and eating wings at the end of the counter. She pointed us toward a self-service kiosk where we ordered with relative ease. After ordering, I had time to look around. Despite being otherwise empty, counters were a bit messy, and the floor was incredibly sticky. I can tell the space would have a great vibe at night though a bit awkward during the late afternoon. I caught sight of another employee in the back who was also wearing Crocs (not in sport mode), which struck me as odd, and after finishing off a wing, the woman in the front began putting together our order. I should clarify â nothing was dirty but just messy. I felt totally comfortable eating their food. But even the signs hanging from the ceiling were at an angle. It made me concerned that, despite great food, people might be put off by the daytime atmosphere. But this place has real promise.
So, will I eat there again? Yeah, Iâll give it at least one more try. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. If nothing else, takeout or delivery would be a...
Read moreSo, I was hesitant to order from here at first. The menu sounded strange and I wasn't sure if I would find anything I liked. I totally get it.
I found something that I was pretty sure I would like, the Philly Cheesesteak. Now, I gotta warn you, I ordered it with extra meat because I know what a Philly should look like and I doubted anyone around here knew. They know. The extra meat made it obscene. Like, it should be illegal to eat a Philly with that much meat and real philly cheese sauce.
Now, I figured I would try a dessert, because those tend to be something that shows the quality of their food. If it is generic stuff, then they aren't trying. Not the case here at all.
I have three words for anyone in the South that will instantly evoke saliva forming and possibly running all over your keyboard or truck dash, Deep Fried Oreos. If it sounds gross, just shut up and try 3. I know of only 1 person that actually didn't like them and that was because they didn't like Oreo cookies.
It should also be noted, they once forgot my fries on an order. Rather than let it slide (like I did,I mean we are in a pandemic) on my next order they called me and offered to make it right with my choice of extras. That shows they are trying, which means something to me.
Do yourself a favor and try this place out. If the burgers or sandwiches sound strange, just go...
Read moreFinally got out here after all of the hype for some lunch.
The gentleman behind the counter taking our order was pretty knowledgeable on the menu and very friendly.
I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with a side of fires and we added some fried pickles to start off.
Pickles came out pretty quickly and were pretty good. The outside was crunchy and the pickle inside was still pretty crisp...overall, it was a tasty fried pickles spear.
My Philly came out shortly afterwards...piping hot from the kitchen! It was a good sammich, not near an authentic Philly, but not many are. I felt the meat could have been seasoned a bit better though, but I get it, it's a franchise and they gotta stick with what they order.
I liked the fries...they were super crispy and seemed to be as fresh as they could be without being fresh cut fries.
The atmosphere of the place is pretty simple, nothing spectacular. The wall of fame is pretty cool though, but I wonder why they left THE Ashley Glotta (2017 OVC Volleyball Player of the Year) off of the wall...makes no sense to me.
In the words of The Terminator...I'll be back (to try something else...
